Meet Patricia Allen, the campaign staffer allegedly involved in a shocking affair with Democrat Congressman Tim Mahoney of Florida as his mistress. Hear the audio tape recording here and see photos.

Patricia Allen: Tim Mahoney’s Affair

Of all the conceited gall! Mahoney is the congressman who replaced Mark Foley, who was run out of Washington for engaging in lewd text messages with congressional page boys. The Democrat who replaced him used the campaign slogan “Restoring America’s Values Begins at Home.”

But if the reports are true, American values begin in two homes, the home of his wife and the home of Patricia Allen. Right, he is married. Tim Mahoney’s wife is Terry Mahoney. You can see the family photos here.

And Patricia Allen apparently has standards when it comes to extra-marital affairs. An audio tape suggests that she confronted him when she suspected that our man Mahoney was having affairs with other campaign staffers, in yet more homes. So he fired her on the spot sounding like a pompous political godfather, a conversation she was feeling jilted enough to record with a hidden device. Hear the audio video recording below, all thanks to these nice people.

“You work at my pleasure. If you do the job that I think you should do, you get to keep your job. Whenever I don’t feel like you’re doing your job, then you lose your job. And guess what? The only person that matters is guess who? Me. You understand that? That is how life really is. That is how it works.”

Oh, the tale of woe goes on for Congressman Tim Mahoney. He then reportedly paid her $121,000 in “hush money” according to reports after he learned of her recordings, what we call bribery in middle America. She is reportedly contemplating a lawsuit for sexual harassment, humiliation and intimidation. Sounds like Patricia Allen has a case.

This week a much larger affair story will break that will make you forget all about Patricia Allen. It happens to be another Democrat candidate for public office, but not a lowly congressman. Not even a senator. Well, he is a U.S. Senator now but that is not the office he is running for in 2008.
