Since we know you cannot get enough of Sarah Palin, see her latest speech here, a solo appearance in Minnesota on September 4th.
In the video below she takes another shot at Obama and defends her family from attacks from the “Obama Biden Democrats.” Apparently the McCain-Palin campaign has decided to set her on Obama and the media like a moose in downtown Juneau. Expect more fireworks from Sarah.
The jury is still out whether the Obama campaign’s intense effort to discredit Sarah Palin and attack her family will backfire. Some surprising media figures are labeling the Obama attack machine sexist. We’ll see if this now becomes the story, and if Obama’s tactics will backfire with working moms across the country.
Sarah Palin speech is below.
Sarah Palin Speech

September 4th, 2008 at 4:11 pm
I don’t know what appeal Sarah Palin could possibly have for working moms (other than fundamentalists), but I can say for sure that she has permanently driven away hundreds of thousands (at least) of community organizers. And they’re are a and demographic to have against you because they are skilled to bringing people together and getting the word out. It’s a shame (for the McCain campaign) that Sarah Palin didn’t know what they did.
September 4th, 2008 at 4:15 pm
hundreds of thousands? How many community organisers do you think are Republicans, or for that matter even independents? The only people who go into community organizing are people who think that people are so pathetic that they cannot accomplish things they want on their own.
September 4th, 2008 at 4:57 pm
Wow! There are hundreds of thousands of community organizers around. I never would have guessed.
You have no point, “merge divide,” because Palin was not criticizing community organizers. She was speaking to Obama who is using his position as a community organizer as a qualification for POTUS simply because he doesn’t have much else to talk about.
September 4th, 2008 at 5:05 pm
@Carol : I am amazed at those that took Palin’s speech and turned it into an attack on community organizers. It was simply what it was…he is running on his experience ??? How many community organizers do you know that are capable of running this country? It’s the area’s of expertise that are in question here, and the libs just want to ignore that itty bitty fact.
September 4th, 2008 at 5:21 pm
Finally figured it out. Sarah Palin is Peggy Hill! She has the ugly smirk and everything! Google Peggy Hill and find a character of Sarah Palin.
September 4th, 2008 at 5:25 pm
Give me a break. Take it from a former community organizer. There are 0 people in the United States who consider themselves “community organizers” who would vote Republican. They are a mix of liberals and communists.
September 4th, 2008 at 5:29 pm
Isn’t the issue how many consider themselves qualified to be president of the United States like Obama does?
I’m a community organizer. I have to say I’m not offended that my qualifications are in question.
September 4th, 2008 at 5:47 pm
ROFL YoungDe. I wonder if Palin has huge feet too.
September 4th, 2008 at 6:07 pm
mccain,
commie or lib?
September 4th, 2008 at 7:39 pm
enough of this big tent stuff… why do they keep showing black people at the republican convention?
September 4th, 2008 at 7:40 pm
I’m not sure he has any idea what’s going on around him, but at least he is no commie. He hates commies. Those ones in VietNam are the worst. He will rip their hearts out of their throats.
I also like that we are going to get back to kicking Russian butt. Next stop, Moscow.
September 4th, 2008 at 7:42 pm
America f-yeh: he’ll
rip their hearts out with his teeth or with a dull spoon

“I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a community organizer, except that you have actual responsibilities,”
Can’t get any more clear than that. What’s with you guys and your spin? Will you ever hold your candidates accountable for what they say? Your self-delusion is twisting you into Gordian knots of blindness. If this is supposed to be specific to Obama, then it was worded incredibly poorly. Terrible judgment on the speech writer’s part (or is this one you guys want to give her credit for?)
If this truly a commentary on Obama’s “lack of experience”, its ridiculous anyway… he spent three years as a DIRECTOR of community organizers TWENTY YEARS AGO! Oh yeah… and what was Palin doing at the time? Working as a sports reporter. No sh*t. Really.
Palin isn’t a “pit bull”, as she’d like to believe. She’s a poodle- all yip and no bite.
September 4th, 2008 at 8:10 pm
ya know, i have to say, palin outshined mccain at this convention. not sue i much like that
September 5th, 2008 at 5:12 am
According to Drudge, looks like the final viewers number is over 40 million.
Merge, yes, 3 years as a Director of a Board founded by William Ayers . . . not exactly resume building stuff. You can spin this all you want, but the Ras surveys are out about the speech, and it clearly is delivering independents.

Hey there, Ignatius,
Pleasant discussion yesterday evening.
Is there a way we can have a conversation about these issues without all of the empty rhetoric? I think you’re fairly sane, I appreciate your respect, and I’m interested in rational, fact-based intellectual discussions, not the noise of the past day or the furor caused by the most recent post.
Certainly not the minute-by-minute discussions of the chattering classes about the chattering of the chattering classes.
How can I contact you, if indeed there’s a way to reveal your contact information without opening yourself to the abuses of the whole blogosphere?
In mutual respect,
Brian

Do we really need to revisit the willliam ayers crap again?
Because we can talk about Sarah Palin’s mentors too- Ed Kalnins and Ted Stevens. Do you really want to open that box?
September 5th, 2008 at 2:35 pm
hey Brian, thanks for the kind words, but I don’t know of any way of revealing contact info without opening myself to the blog world, which is asking for disaster.
I’ll definitely keep an eye out for your comments though. We do have interesting discussions here, if you screen out the knee-jerk insults!

But I guess you’ll have to trust me.
September 5th, 2008 at 3:09 pm
sorry for the violation. Brian
September 6th, 2008 at 4:30 pm
I don’t know where that other Brian is going with what he is saying, but its not my doing. One thing is clear, you don’t have to be a genius or experienced as long as you are effective and doing things for the right reason. There are plenty of independents out there who can help make up a quality “can do” cabinet. Palin doesn’t seem the narcissistic type and she answers to a higher calling than the usual. Her high Alaskan ratings of 80 percent are saying something. Alaskans are not a typical state, but its a group of self starting, entrepreneurs, who live hand and hand with nature and modern times. You can say its not representative of the lower 48 states in many ways, so its not surprising she is a breath of fresh air. You can’t out policy wonk that as the obama campaign is desparately trying. Maybe what we do need as a nation is a breath of totally fresh air to get out of this mess we are in. The hardest part is to separate out an engaging personality with some fundamentalist world view, but I think she is more pragmatist with a solid personal foundation than a policy wonkette. The big question is, are the American people really ready for a breath of fresh air?
September 6th, 2008 at 5:23 pm
What get to me is what sheep the repugnicans are. They think Sarah Palin wrote that speech??? Come ON. They knew none of them could say the things they wanted to say, so they used her to say them. All she did is read. Why high marks? We value demeaning, blatantly rude and tacky speaking in this country? She is trash.
September 6th, 2008 at 5:49 pm
Iowa teacher.
Lots of, just about every politician has someone write their speechs. but they also have to read and approve them first.
woulod you take a speech not knowing the content and get in front millions and just start reading ?
As a matter of fact in her acceptance speech they could not find the polished version and so had to use an original with notes scribbles all over it. then to top it off she had to ad lib half the speech due to a faulty teleprompter.
And if you anything at all about the woman you would know that she speaks very weel on her own , off the cuff with no help at all.
I f you google some of her debates you will see that the woman does not really need any prepared script
September 6th, 2008 at 6:03 pm
I think she’s sore that Palin has a better speech writer than Obama.
The fun part is that liberals didn’t learn the first time that creating low expectations for Palin works marvelously for her.
September 14th, 2008 at 5:05 pm
- the new speech says NOTHING at all. ZERO ZIP NADA.
October 5th, 2008 at 4:42 pm
Barack, don’t respond to SP negative attacks Some sicko in McCain’s campaign has decided to use to
“protect our White women from Black brutes at all cost as an appeal to voters.” Sending this country back to the 30’s another economically depressed time in our country when the lynchings were not so “high tech”. I can not vote Repulican anymore.

What happened to intelligent Republican conservatism. Where, oh where is the party of Vandenberg and Dirksen.
It’s become the Peasant Party
