Vice-Presidential candidate Sarah Palin gives an interview about oil drilling and energy. Read about it below and see a video of the interview.

Sarah Palin had a most interesting interview today on CNBC with Maria Bartiromo. The Governor is great, she talks about the benefits of drilling in ANWR and the minuscule “risks” of oil drilling in the barren landscape known as the Alaskan Wildlife Refuge, of which there is very little actual wildlife. Gov. Palin also speaks about the insanity that is known as the Obama Energy Plan. Namely filling your tires with air and wearing a sweater in the winter time to save on your heating bill. Or, as Gov. Schweitzer reminded us “the most important barrel of oil is the barrel of oil you don’t use.”

The real question is if Palin can get her running mate to change his mind on ANWR. Considering this is polling very high right now, I expect McCain to flop, errrr, I mean revise his position on ANWR at any time. We can hope at least. The one thing that is clear to me is that our current energy plan, or lack there of, is not working. Is anyone doing anything about it? Pelosi and her ilk are sitting around waiting for wind powered cars, and schmoe’s like me are paying $4.50 a gallon for gas. The real secret (although its not really a secret) is that the Dems are perfectly happy with where gas prices are. As Obama himself said, he wishes they hadn’t risen so quickly, but he actually thinks its a good thing that these prices are moving people out of the market and forcing them to find alternate modes of transportation. Its real easy to preach that when you make several million dollars a year and have private jets and limousines coach you around. However, your average suburbanite who has to commute 50 miles each way to work is getting killed, and no one seems to care. Well, no one except Sarah’cuda. BTW, my new bumper sticker is I ♥ SARAH’CUDA!

Here is some of the interview with Sarah’cuda.
