Mike Gravel is a former Democratic Presidential candidate who has been caught on tape encouraging a crowd to stalk a federal prosecutor in support of a man who has plead guilty to aiding and abetting the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Read about it below and see photos and a video.

Mike Gravel is a former two term U.S. Senator from Alaska and a former candidate for the Democratic nomination for the Presidency. You might remember him from the ad he did with ‘Obama Girl’ (the video is below). You also might remember him from the Democratic debates. While he was still participating in the debates he called Hillary Clinton a ‘liar’. Actually, he said something like if her lips were moving then you knew she was lying. He apparently doesn’t have a problem being curmudgeonly.

Well, now he’s gotten himself in the news again by getting caught on tape encouraging a crowd to support Palestinian terrorist sympathizer, Sami Al-Arian. Did you read that right? Why, yes you did. And it gets worse. He not only was speaking in support of al-Arian, who plead guilty to the charges against him, but he encouraged the crowd to stalk the federal prosecutor who is prosecuting al-Arian for criminal contempt.

You see, al-Arian has plead guilty to providing aid and assistance to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. However, he has refused to comply with court orders requiring him to testify before a grand jury regarding the International Institute of Islamic Thought. The Northern Virginia think tank is being investigated for possibly financing terror activities against the interest of the United States.

Apparently al-Arian is either more loyal to the activities of Islamic Jihad than he is to his own country, or he’s more afraid of the terrorist organization than he is of the United States. Or both.

Terrorist experts say that there is overwhelming evidence that al-Arian is the head of the Islamic Jihad network in the United States. His supporters say that he’s being persecuted and held unfairly without adequate evidence of his guilt. The fact that he plead guilty seems to be forgotten by his supporters.

Not to worry, al-Arian has friends in high places, specifically Mike Gravel. Gravel was caught on tape encouraging a crowd in Washington, D.C. to stalk and harass the federal prosecutor into dropping the charges against al-Arian.

“Find out where he lives, find out where his kids go to school, find out where his office is, picket him all the time,? Gravel said, in an audio tape obtained by the Investigative Project on Terrorism and provided to FOX News.

“Call him a racist in signs if you see him. Call him an injustice. Call him whatever you want to call him, but in his face all the time.?

Now prosecutors are looking at whether or not to bring charges against Gravel for threatening a federal prosecutor.
