Meet Bridget McCain, daughter of John McCain and Cindy McCain. You can read a biography of her and see photos and a video of her below.

Cindy McCain was touring 3rd world countries with Mother Teresa in 1991 to provide medical attention to needy children. During this tour, Cindy and Mother Teresa toured an orphanage in Bangladesh where Cindy picked up a baby that was only a few months old. This baby had a severe cleft lip. Cindy being concerned for the baby, decided to adopt the baby and take her back to the US. This baby, became Bridget McCain.

Little has been known about Bridget McCain since 2000 when John McCain bid for the White House. Many speculated in 2000 that Bridget was the product of an affair by John McCain and a prostitute. Of course, no good deed goes unpunished, or in this case, without speculation.

Truth be told, Bridget is a teenager, at only 16 years old, Bridget has stayed in the shadows. While her family is on the campaign trail in the hopes of securing the Presidential Nomination, Bridget has remained in private school in Arizona which is the way she wants it. She says she supports her father’s campaign, but is glad she gets to stay at home instead of traveling with them.

“My Dad has proven himself to be capable to be the president. If he wins, he will be great at it!” says Bridget.

Bridget McCain Biography

Bridget McCain was born in 1991 in Bangladesh. She is 16-years-old. As stated above, she was adopted by John and Cindy McCain when she was just a few months old from an orphanage run by Mother Teresa. She was brought to the United States by Cindy McCain to receive medical treatment for a severe cleft palate and other medical issues. By the time Cindy got her home, she had decided to adopt her and John was receptive to the adoption.

“Well it was primarily my wife’s Cindy’s idea. She was in Bangladesh and she and some of the medical personnel visited Mother Theresa’s orphanage to try and help the children there. There were two little baby girls there. One had a heart problem the other a severe cleft palate. Cindy was very concerned about their ability to survive and their need for medical treatment, so she decided to bring them here for medical treatment. She fell in love with both of them. We decided to adopt Bridget. Two close friends of ours adopted Mickey, the other child.”—John McCain
