Meet Patti Solis Doyle, former Clinton’s campaign manager who has joined the Obama Campaign. Read her biography and see photos and a video of her below.

Patti Solis Doyle was fired from her position as Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager and now joins the Obama campaign as as the chief of staff to whoever his vice presidential candidate ends up being. This has caused a lot of consternation on the part of Clinton insiders. She’s no longer on speaking terms with Clinton or people in her inner circle. They are saying that Doyle is a perfect fit for Obama since she is primarily responsible for him winning the nomination. Ouch!

She’s been the source of controversy for the Clinton campaign for President, as well as her last Senatorial campaign. Both times there were a lot of questions about the amount of money being spent by the campaign and Doyle was blamed for the elaborate expenses.

Of course, since the Obama campaign has a gazillion dollars, Doyle can spend as much as she likes and it won’t be a problem. Considering the tension between herself and the Clintons, I think its a pretty good bet that she won’t be picking Clinton as the vice-presidential candidate.

She stayed with the Clinton’s until she was fired shortly after the Super Tuesday primaries in February 2008.
