Obama Oregon
Record numbers of people came to hear Obama in Portland, Oregon today. They came from every where to see him, to hear him, perchance to touch the hem of his coat. From every corner of Oregon and surrounding states. They came from far and wide. 75,000 strong stood and sweated, crowded together to hear the words of The One. The one they call the chosen one. The one they call their Dear Leader. The one they put all their faith and hope in. The one they believe in. They came to hear words of hope and change. They came to hear soaring rhetoric and to feel inspired … and … hopeful.
It is now known as Obama Oregon. The polls say he will win Oregon which is probably why he held the revival rally there rather than in Kentucky. The polls say that Obama and Oregon are one and the same. Simpatico. O & O. There was no need for church on Sunday in Portland. There was Obama. The Effete Elite and the unwashed masses worshiped side by side at his feet.
I haven’t heard if there was any turning water into wine or multiplying fish and loaves of bread to feed the multitudes. I think its only a matter of time before we start hearing stories like that.
Obama is blowing off Kentucky pretty much the same way he blew off West Virginia. He apparently figures he can’t win there anyway so why bother with them. Besides, they’re a bunch of Bible-thumping, gun-toting hillbillies anyway. Typical white people who just don’t seem to understand that he’s The One. He goes where his people are. The others don’t really matter.
I hear he’s going to declare himself the winner after the primaries on Tuesday, so what do the votes of the common people really mean any way? They don’t mean a thing. Acknowledging them doesn’t mean a thing. After all, he’s the Obamessiah. His arrogance is breathtaking.
Take a look at the photos, there are people as far as you can see. My grandmother would have said there were more people there than you could shake a stick at!
My G*d, they love him. The learjet liberals, the effete elite, the privileged university students and the media. Every misstep he makes is forgiven and forgotten. They hang on every utterance regardless of how many times he says the same things. They want to believe in him. That want to believe in him so badly they won’t hear any misstatement or misstep. When you’re a blank slate then the people can project onto you whatever it is they want you to be. They want to believe in him. My G*d, they love what they want him to be.

Beth, there is truth to Oregon as a “suburb” of San Francisco. The western side of the state is inhabited by transplanted greenies from California, either first or second generation. The old Oregonians (you know, the people who work for a living who don’t have time to stand for hours in a giant crowd) are in the eastern side of the state, which is more conservative like Idaho.

Rightpundits, I think you are eing very unfair to both yourself and the country by engaging in naked falsehoods. If you were more sensible than Obama, why didn’t you run? For all the pun that you write, it is very clear you ARE NOT one of the ’simple-uneducated’ whites that you pretend to champion. Your writting betrays you.
