When I first heard Hillary Clinton beseech her supporters on Tuesday night to visit her web site and donate, I thought it was somewhat crass. I take that back. Since Tuesday (Tuesday!), Hillary’s Clinton’s Campaign has raised $10 million. To put it mildly, that is unprecedented. If she can continue to raise money at this pace, it could possibly change the whole tenor of this primary. I had assumed that Obama would win despite his loss on Tuesday and from a pledged delegate perspective, I still have trouble seeeing how Hillary Clinton could pull of a late-inning victory. However, there are $10 million reasons since Tuesday that could prove me wrong.
If Hillary continues to raise money at even half this rate, she will be able to compete with Obama in all of the remaining primaries especially since none are major media markets. The Obama campaign is probably starting to wonder why they cannot put Hillary away. Again, never underestimate a Clinton. They only lose elections over your dead body.

Actually not quite. Terry Mac said that they were ON TRACK to raise $10 million. Whether they do that or not is another question. Also, you have to wonder if all or even most of that money can be used for the primaries. Remember last month they said they raised $20 million when they could only use $8 million for the primaries?

The campaign claims to have raised $10m. I did not see any qualification such as “on track”. However, it would be just like a Clinton to exaggerate.

check out Halperin’s page at the bottom and you will see where they say, “on track.” The Clintons don’t know how to do anything but lie.

Check out hillaryclinton.com . They did raise $10 million in 24 hours and are adding to that total.

$10 million in 24 hours? Does the money matter at this point? She has plenty, and as Obama showed in Penn, money doesn’t always make the difference.
This is bad for Obama. If Hillary wins, it will be via a last minute surge. That’s good for her in the general.
Obama is limping to the finish. Even if he wins the D. nomination in the end, that’s not good for him.

Just for the record, this story turned out to be true.
