This goes out to our friend and regular commentator in our threads, Bob Abouie. Seriously, we like him although he is clearly liberal. Bob never misses a chance to point out how well Obama is doing with Gallup’s daily national tracking poll. This poll, showing Hillary Clinton with a 1 point lead, was a shocker, at least to me. Is this indicative of a potentially huge problem for Senator Obama?
Tuesday’s Pennsylvania Democratic primary will likely decide the fate of Hillary Clinton. As Obama’s house of cards begins to fall, can Hillary somehow hang in there long enough to steal the nomination? It is clear that the concerns regarding Senator Obama’s numerous questionable associations are finally beginning to take a toll on his campaign.
Welcome to the real world Senator Obama. Your last get out of jail free card has been used. Going forward, expect even more scrutiny into your past, whether you think it is relevant or not. Click here to view the latest Gallup daily tracking poll.

1% is statistically insignificant, and well within the margin of error, but it does show a trend. Looking at the updated Gallup numbers shows a two day trending in Clinton’s favor, which then switches back to favor Obama on yesterdays numbers (all statistically insignificant) what is interesting is that Rasmussen and other daily polling sites have not shown a similar change.

Poco,
Gallup has had Obama ahead for a couple of months now. I do think this trend is significant. Still, I think HRC’s Bosnian fantasy will preclude her from landing the decisive blow that she needs on Tuesday.

Mdelf, Hillary’s been lying for years, what’s one more? The moonbats who liked her before Bosnia will continue to like her after.

Obama is back up by 2 as of today.
Obama and McCain are tied at 45-45, and Clinton leads McCain by 1.
Given all we’ve heard for the last few weeks is that Clinton vs. Obama is destroying the Democrats, it’s worth noting that they still match up pretty well against McCain.

Bob,
Obama consistently had a 7 to 11 point lead over Clinton in Gallup’s daily tracking poll. You have to admit that Obama’s defensiveness is hurting him. The Republicans have not even started to vet him yet. That fun will begin sometime around August.
Ironically, it is a policy position, not an association, that I think really hurt Obama. Specifically, in the debate he claimed that he would not raise taxes on those families earning less than 250K. Then, either Georgie or Chuck (I forget which) pointed out that Obama’s lifting of the SS cap on income (currently 97.5k) is a tax increase on everyone earning between 100 and 250k. Obama’s basically stammered through a response. At that moment he lost some voters earning between 100 and 250K. I would bet those people vote in fairly high percentages.
BTW – They may have to lift the cap. In reality, he might be right about that position. It is disappointing to me that he would not stand his ground. Obama is, after all, just another slick politician.
