William Ayers is one of Barack Obama’s buddies. He’s also known as Billy Ayers or Bill Ayers. We don’t hear a lot about William Ayers on the old media, just like with most people and things associated with Barack Obama that are a little on the distasteful side. I don’t blame the old media for that. I’m sure they are just trying to protect us from having to cling to guns and Bibles for comfort when we realize the kinds of circles Obamessiah runs in.

Imagine my surprise as I was watching part of the Democratic debate tonight and the news people asking the candidates questions actually hammered Obama on a few issues. Apparently, they took their scolding by Saturday Night Live to heart! There were several questions that the moderators appeared to actually expect Obama to answer!!! Obama appeared a little taken aback by their refusal to accept him answering everything with, ‘I will bring hope and change to the country’, followed by a charming broad smile. The charming broad smile faded as the moderators asked him to actually answer the questions. Poor Barack!

One of those questions had to do with his terrorist friend, William Ayers. Oh dear! That’s like asking Obama about his preacher The Reverend Jeremiah Wright! Its just off limits. Ya know? The moderators dared to ask it and Obama stumbled around to answer it …. after they wouldn’t accept the ‘I will bring hope and change to the country’ answer.

The problem is that Obama just doesn’t know how to answer these kinds of questions. Unfortunately for him, he just doesn’t know the American people. He doesn’t seem to understand that we don’t generally like people who have bombed the Pentagon and are unrepentant for it. Terrorists kinda stick in our craw. Obama finally answered the question by comparing his friend William Ayers to Senator Tom Coburn of Oklahoma who supports the death penalty for abortionists.

Now, I appreciate that Obama may not see the difference between the two men, so I’m going to see if I can help. William Ayers is an admitted terrorist who bombed the Pentagon, did jail time and has recently said he doesn’t regret doing it and only regrets that weren’t more successful. Senator Coburn was elected to office and is trying to change the law regarding the death penalty (and presumably other laws) through our system that is set up for such things. He is not underground creating havoc with acts of violence that kill innocent people and destroy property. Senator Coburn has not declared his own personal war against the United States. William Ayers makes no secret of his disdain for the United States and his own personal war against our country. Do you see the difference?

Barack Obama doesn’t understand how out of touch with the American people he is or how arrogant he is because he is out of touch and arrogant. I honestly don’t know how you get through to someone who is so certain he knows more about …. everything …. than you do.

Seriously, Obama should apologize to Senator Coburn. I doubt he will. It’ll be kind of like his statements about Middle Americans clinging to Bibles and guns cause we are all bitter. He says he said that because he was right. How do you get through to someone who is always right in his own mind? Oh, sorry, I already asked that question didn’t I? Its just so perplexing.

I hope that someone will explain to Barack the difference between pro-life senators and people who set bombs to kill innocent people. I hope, at some point, he’ll be able to understand the difference.
