Fly-fishing or Fish?

Here are the pictures of Dick Cheney’s sunglasses which at first glance reflect a natural woman. Believe it or not, this is the hottest story in Washington.

The photo by official White House photographer David Bohrer surfaced on the White House website on April 9th 2008. By April 11th it had taken the internet by storm.

The official government explanation is that Cheney is fishing on the Snake River in Idaho. They think we are so gullible.

So what does this image look like to you? Dick Cheney clearly appears to be gawking at a oman.

Perhaps you are in the incurious camp that does not care.

On closer examination the experts have concluded that the image is probably Cheney fly-fishing and that the enormous grin is due to his wondrous appreciation for the outdoors. They say that Cheney or a companion is holding a fishing pole (not euphemistically) and that he is loving it, emphatically, euphorically loving it.

That conclusion leaves open the possibility that the Cheney sunglasses reflection might be his female fishing buddy who happens to be a woman holding a fishing pole. Right Pundits suggests that would explain everything.

Nevertheless one hopes that Cheney is a better fisherman than a hunter.

So is the Vice President really fly-fishing or is he fishing with flies? A nation that elected Dick and Bush are entitled to finally know the truth.

Before publishing this story, the Right Pundits editorial board carefully weighed the possibility of mass social unrest verses the public right to know. We were eventually persuaded by blatant White House efforts to stonewall the story of Dick Cheney’s sunglasses.
