Much hay has been made the past week or so about Federal Judge Gonzalo Curiel, who is presiding over the class action lawsuit case against Donald J. Trump over claims that Trump University, Trump U, was fraudulent. A website,, first associated the judge, a first-generation Mexican-American, with the radical, Hispanic supremacist group, La Raza, officially known as the National Council of La Raza. La Raza translates in Spanish to ″The Race″. Some say that it is merely an advocacy group, focusing often on issues like immigration and citizenship. However, some within La Raza have also called for the reunification with Mexico of lands which they believe rightfully belong to Mexico, such as the states of Texas, California, Utah, etc., most of the US southwest. According to the Washington Post, Judge Curiel actually belongs to a group called the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association, which is not affiliated with La Raza. A La Raza spokesperson also claims that La Raza translates to ″The People″, which, can also be interpreted as ″The Future Race″, one where all current races are blended together.

So, what does this have to do with the price of bread, or our presidential elections? Probably quite a bit! Donald Trump argues that Judge Curiel should recuse himself for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that he may be biased due to Trump′s campaign promise to build a wall along the US-Mexico border. La Raza, or the NCLR, has a checkered history, including accusations of being ′anti-gringo′. Even Cesar Chavez, who once led the United Farm Workers union, warned about La Raza being a Hispanic racist organization. Chavez even warned The Ford Foundation, which was a major contributor to La Raza, that the group′s views were very similar to Adolph Hitler′s concerning the Aryan race.

So we have several questions here, starting with is La Raza a racist group and is there any connection between the lawyer′s group in San Diego with La Raza? Cesar Chavez thought La Raza was a racist group, so I have to kind of have to lean towards him. He once told a reporter from The New Yorker that, ″Today its anti-gringo, tomorrow it will be anti-Negro.″ He recounted how some La Raza members tried to discriminate against Whites within the UFW union, trying to disqualify their votes on union matters. Chavez even had to intervene when La Raza agitators went after White volunteers at UFW picket lines.

There is no doubt that some extremist members of La Raza seek to restore US territory to Mexico and intend to deport all non-Hispanics from these lands. Not just Whites, but any non-Hispanics. They may be a small minority within La Raza, but they do exist. As we have seen at many of the Trump rallies, many protesters carrying Mexican flags are engaging in violence. So is it any wonder why Donald Trump would be taking note of this activity? His supporters are being physically assaulted, as well as verbally abused and intimidated.

Next, we have the issue of whether the lawyer association which Judge Curiel belongs to is directly connected to La Raza? Fine, let us say that they are not ′directly connected′. Then why use THAT term in their name? Why not call themselves the San Diego Hispanic Lawyers Association? Or Latino Lawyers? Or Hispanic-Latino? Why use ″La Raza″? Obviously, there is sympathy with La Raza and they share some of their views, particularly on the treatment of illegal immigrants and giving them amnesty and citizenship. Or, at least, easing the laws to allow for migration. They, the lawyers group, want open, unsecured borders and not a wall of any sort.

There are other issues with Judge Curiel that deal more with legal matters in why he should recuse himself. The class-action lawsuit, itself, should have been tossed out long ago after the initial plaintiff dropped out. There is also the matter of the law firm involved having given some $675,000 to Bill and Hillary Clinton for several speeches. There is the dubious involvement of several state attorney generals who tried to obtain campaign contributions from Donald Trump prior to deciding whether or not to join the lawsuit. Most of the remaining plaintiffs signed documents, report cards, praising the service and information they received from Trump University. Most of the few negative ‘report cards’ had complaints like no sandwiches were served at seminars. Heavens to Betsy!!!

Yes, many well-known Republicans, like Newt Gingrich, are criticizing Donald Trump for his remarks about Judge Gonzalo Curiel and the Trump University lawsuit. They have their own opinions and positions to protect. So digging into and telling the truth is not always in their best interest. This is exactly why Donald Trump blew away 16 other GOP presidential candidates and has started a political movement! Trump is not afraid to say what is on his mind! He calls them as he sees them. Unlike your average politician, like Crooked Hillary Rodham Clinton, who lies and says very little that has not been focus-grouped and precisely worded by a panel of ′experts′. Trump is spontaneous, honest, even brutally so, because he has spent his life building a financial empire on facts and reality. All Trump knows is the truth, its what he understands and is not afraid to say it.

Trump University is not a scam, the class-action lawsuit against it is! I′ve worked in sales and have had access to material similar to what Trump U offers. Some of it is good and very helpful, some of it is just common sense. Most of it is material never taught in any college or university because it cannot be bent or reshaped to fit their Liberal-Progressive-Socialist agendas. It is very much like the comedy movie, ″Back To School″, where Rodney Dangerfield argues with the business management professor because the Ivy Tower prof has never actually worked in the real world of the private sector. Yeah, if you want to get things done, sometimes you gotta grease the union reps and government inspectors. Spread some of the wampum that Elizabeth Warren might be familiar with.

I do not know if federal Judge Gonzalo Curiel is a Hispanic supremacist so, until proven otherwise, as the American Way we always assume innocence. I do not know Donald Trump personally, but I know enough about him to say that he most certainly is not a racist. The rap against Trump is tainted by the Liberal-Progressive-Socialist agenda, which is mentally defective. Their whole game is based on robbing Peter to help Paul, not by helping Paul to be like Peter. I have no problem giving Paul a fish dinner, ready to eat, for a period while he learns how to catch and cook the fish himself. But the Liberal idiots running our government and institutions instead believe in feeding Paul while teaching him gender or ethnic studies instead of something useful like robotics. Paul will have to depend on others feeding him for the rest of his life, which is not a sane policy.
