That crazy Glenn Beck is at it again! Now he is calling for all ′good Christians′ to join him and his family in an all-day fast today for Ted Cruz. Beck wrote on his Facebook page of his intentions to refrain from food on Monday as he helps campaign with Cruz in Nevada. Glenn believes that if America goes down the drain, presumably caused by Donald Trump becoming our next president, it will be the fault of Christians not voting for Ted Cruz. Now, I don′t mean to get mean here, but seriously, Glenn Beck could fast for a week easily and still not have to worry about buying a new belt. Ted Cruz, too! Last week, Beck declared that God wants Ted Cruz to be our next president. Yet, the people of South Carolina seem to be more inclined to have Donald Trump win the White House. Even Evangelicals preferred Trump over Cruz. Is God only truthful to Glenn Beck and no one else?

Maybe Pope Francis, the Commie-Pope, is in on Beck′s God, too, as the Pontiff also does not think much of Donald Trump. This does make me wonder what god is Glenn Beck communicating with? Perhaps Loki? Maybe the Goddess Eris or Discordia? How else can one explain why a deity would favor a candidate who lies, cheats and plays dirty tricks on his opponents? Personally, I think this is the work of Isis! No, not the terror group, but the Egyptian goddess. Glenn Beck and Ted Cruz are probably Isis worshipers, confirming their connection to the Illuminati!

Now, I could go down that bumpy road about whether Glenn Beck is a Christian in the first place, being that he is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a.k.a. Mormons. But, I don′t know enough about Beck′s personal beliefs to judge on this. For example, does Beck think that his ′god′ resides on Kolob and is Kolob a planet or a star? But, given that Joseph Smith claims he had his visions of Abraham after reading some Egyptian scrolls, here we have a clue to the whole Isis thingy. Not all that far a field from beliefs shared by Illuminati-connected groups like the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, which built its first temple for Isis-Urania in London, England in 1888. A similar temple was built in San Jose, California by the Ancient and Mystical Order Rosae Cruis, or Rosicrucian Order in 1927.

So what is Glenn Beck up to here? Is he trying to take the lead in establishing a theocracy or ′theodemocracy′ here in America? Or has America always been such, given the involvement of most of the Founding Fathers in all things Freemasonry? Ted Cruz has been thumping the Bible quite a bit on the campaign trail, trying to play up to Evangelicals and Born-Again Christians. Marco Rubio, who also once had ties to the Mormon Church, is also playing the ′God-Card′ on the campaign stump. Neither are doing all that well, at least not well enough to have a clear path to the White House. Perhaps the ′real′ God is sending us a message that phonies like Glenn Beck, Ted Cruz and even Marco Rubio should be ignored, if not cast from the surface of the Earth?

Me, I was born and raised Catholic, but then after watching ″2001: A Space Odyssey″ when only 8-years old, took a sharp turn into Infinity and Beyond! Eventually, my spiritual journey reached several goal points along the way to the present, where I define myself as a ′Matthew 6 Christian′. Yep! Sermon on the Mound says it all! No need to go any further. If you can′t take the Word of Jesus Christ Himself, whom can you believe? This is where I part company with the likes of Glenn Beck, Ted Cruz and even Marco Rubio. Matthew 6, verses 5 and 6 states it plainly enough. ″And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.″ Or, in other words, the more you talk about God, the less you are doing to please Him.

Donald Trump does not talk much about God or his personal faith for a very good reason. He was raised as a Presbyterian, rooted in Calvinism. Ah, John Calvin! Hero of the Neo-Reactionary movement! Its all about the ′TULIPs′! The five points of Calvinism are explained in the acronym TULIP. How ′Total depravity′ exists in all men as ′original sin′. That ′Unconditional election′ means God will choose His elected not by virtue or merit, but simply by mercy. ′Limited atonement′ determines whom will be redeemed by the Blood of Christ, those who are already part of the elected. ′Irresistible grace′ will apply to God′s elected and is powerful enough overcome any resistance. Finally, we have ′Perseverance of the saints′, that the truly faithful will always be faithful, because God refuses to get mired in the mundane. Albeit, this is a ′Denny′s place-mat′ version of Calvinism, but it helps explain why Trump says some of the things he does. Such as why he has never asked for forgiveness. In Trump′s view, it doesn′t matter. If God intends to grant Trump eternal life, that decision has already been made, and if He has, then Trump is naturally compelled to be a good Christian and do what is right. Nothing Trump, himself, can do will change the Will of God!

This flies in the face of the heathen Glenn Beck, who thinks that we mortal, flawed humans can alter the Will of God. Beck said so himself when he claims that, A) God wants Ted Cruz to be our next president, and B) if Ted Cruz isn′t elected then it is the fault of Christians whom do not vote for Cruz. If Cruz is not elected president in November, THAT WAS the Will of God! If Christians decide to vote for their pocket books rather than for some campaign preaching by religious hypocrites, that′s the Will of God, too! Does that mean that it was the Will of God for Barack Obama to get elected and ruin the country? Yep, ′fraid so! Maybe those folks at Westboro Baptist Church are not so far off the beaten track? Maybe God gave us Obama as punishment for our many sins? John Calvin might very well agree with such a conclusion.

Of course, we all have our faiths and there are plenty of flavors out there. This is 21st Century America, not the English Civil War with Royalists and Roundhats running about killing each other. Everyone is entitled to their opinion in the United States thanks to our First Amendment, protected by the Second Amendment. Even Glenn Beck, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio have a right to be wrong when it comes to mixing politics with religion. Still, this is foolish, especially that we are entering the ′wholesale phase′ of the presidential campaign. Trying to play up to one segment of society will not yield sufficient votes for success. Even that particular segment of society is not driven by any one specific issue these days. Like Jeb Bush and John Kasich, they are still playing to a political map drawn up in the 1980s and 90s. We are a different country now facing many different problems. Donald Trump has evolved and is adapting to meet the challenges of the 21st Century and ′Make America Great Again′. I say unto you, Glenn Beck, when Donald J Trump takes the oath of office next January in front of the Capitol Building, THAT will be the Will of God! And if its Hillary Clinton because you and your like sit at home on election day and mumble over your Isis prayer scrolls, that will also be the Will of God!
