Assisted suicide cocktail parolee Jack Kevorkian has announced his intention to run for Congress in Michigan’s 9th District, a seat currently held by Republican Joe Knollenberg. The 9th District includes Oakland County. He will run as an independent and is in the process of obtaining the required 3,000 ballot signatures to get onto the ballot. Well, if Michigan’s Presidential delegates won’t get seated, perhaps Michigan won’t be side-lined afterall. They’ll have their own eletion circus with Dr. Death.

Kevorkian was released on Parole in June after serivng 8 1/2 years of a 10-25 year sentence for assisting in the suicide of a person with Lou Gherig’s diease. His parole officer called it a publicity stunt.
