I am officially endorsing Hillary Clinton as the Democratic nominee for President of the United States of America. That is, for this Tuesday’s primary campaigns in Texas, Ohio, Vermont and Rhode Island. All Republicans should be for Hillary Clinton. Before any of our stalwart Republican readers lose their collective lunches, allow me to explain.

Clearly, it is in the Republicans best interests to keep the Democratic race as close as possible. What better scenario could be envisioned by the GOP than a controversial, brokered Democratic National Convention some 9 weeks prior to the general election? If Barack Obama prevails, then the embittered grown ups in the Democratic Party might just sit out the general election. Should Hillary Clinton become the nominee, there will be accusations of a smoke filled back room deal. I can already hear Al Sharpton shouting protests of voter disenfranchisement. That is music to my ears! A Hillary victory would all but kill the kids on the very far left of the political spectrum. There enthusiasm would crumble as fast as it takes for Teddy Kennedy to down a glass of whiskey. Some of Obama’s supporters would inevitably support that other bastion of the far left, Ralph Nader. Now, I hope you can see why I think we should start the Republicans For Hillary Clinton movement. I live in Pennsylvania, and if need be, I will re-register as a Democrat and vote for whichever candidate is necessary to help ensure chaos within the Democratic Party. It could just as easily become Republicans for Barack Obama.

It is now Senator Obama’s turn in the hot seat. Can he handle the grilling? So far, the press has given him a complete pass on his ultra-liberal positions, which is not surprising since they are ultra-liberal themselves. Hillary’s strategy of highlighting Obama’s lack of experience on issues of national security is the absolute correct strategy for her to pursue. Never mind that Hillary does not have any real experience herself and that both Democratic candidates pale in comparison to Senator John McCain on this vital issue. The Clinton campaign has learned the hard way that they cannot rely on the mainstream press outlets to help them with Obama.

If you are a Republican with Democratic friends living in one of the aforementioned states, please call them and convince them to vote for Hillary this Tuesday. Let’s keep this race going and let the Democrats destroy one another and in the process destroy their chances in November. Republicans for Hillary Clinton!
