A California man sues McDonald′s over a napkin, one napkin! That is all Webster Lucas claims he got when he ordered a Quarter Pounder Deluxe. The lack of extra napkins has caused him ′undue mental anguish′ to the tune of $1.5 million dollars worth. Lucas also claims that the general manager of the McDonald′s refused his request for extra napkins. Does he have a case? Or is this a frivolous lawsuit? Could there be a connection between the lack of customer service and Lucas being a Black man?

When in doubt, file a lawsuit! That seems to be par for the course in America. So is this another stupid lawsuit driven by the decline of civilization? Or is Webster Lucas right and McDonald′s owe him for poor customer service? I’m sure Gordon Ramsay would have given Lucas all the napkins he wanted, as would any rational restauranteur.

Besides, I′ve already bashed Obama a few days over Russia and the Ukraine, so we need a change of pace. I suppose I could have written about the 2014 Academy Awards show, but I only watched about the first 15-20 minutes of the Oscar show before it became too dull for me. Ellen Degeneres stunk and was so boring that even the E! Network Red Carpet show was more interesting.

So what do you think that the California man sues McDonald′s over a napkin is a real story? Do you sympathize with Webster Lucas who only got one napkin when he ordered a Quarter Pounder Deluxe? Is his ′undue mental anguish′ worth $1.5 million dollars? What would Michelle Obama say about his food choice? How would you have handled the situation if you were the general manager?
