Lets not jump the gun, in 04 Kerry was leading by a similar margin according to polls at this time of the year. A lot can and will still happen. If there is any major terrorist attack in the world between now and then, McCain is almost a shoe in. Right now American’s love Obama, but his record is so vapid and unremarkable, if the GOP is smart they will exploit it. Also, I think a lot of the excitment for Obama is the simple fact that he is not Hillary. The libs are as tired of her as we are, they are only now just realizing it.
I think McCain can make Obama look like an inexperienced school child when they have their debates. This is no where close to being over.

We are so far out, I will concur with you. AA vote in Nov will be in massive proportions. If he does with whites and improves with latinos he will do well. This is a one of century race, thus year will be anything but the norm. Obama/Hagel or Obama/Webb and he is on his way, i think to breaking 300 EV.

Kelly, don’t count your Obamamaniacs before they are hatched. He is only barely beating the other Democrat in the race.

I think the media surge against Obama this past week may help Hilary win both Texas and Ohio. The Saturday Night Live skits were damaging too as Americans do not like unfairness. Many will move toward Hillary.
