Talk about a failure! The Obama approval rating will not do well as CBS News reports that only six people enrolled for an Obamacare health insurance plan on the first day of the big roll-out of the Healthcare.gov website. Notes obtained from a meeting on Wednesday morning, October 2 held by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, or CMS, tell the tale of the dismal disaster. By Wednesday afternoon, another 100 people had enrolled and by the end of the second day, a grand total of just 248 had signed up. ′Official′ numbers will not be released until mid-November by the CMS, but it is clear that Obamacare has gotten off on a very bad start. In order to achieve the target goal of 7 million enrolled by mid-March, the federal government needs an average of 39,000 people per day to enroll as paying participants. However, as earlier reported by many sources, the vast majority of people are enrolling to get on Medicaid, not a real health insurance policy.

So is it any wonder that Barack Obama has seen his job approval, and likability numbers nose dive? A new poll by NBC News and the Wall Street Journal shows only 6% like Obamacare. Just navigating the website is a small problem compared to the chaos being inflicted upon the health insurance industry and doctors. Not only have some 2 million Americans been notified that their policies are being dropped as they do not conform to the new minimal standards of the ACA, such as gender-change coverage, but scores of doctors are being told that they must drop their Medicare and Medicaid patients. A new study shows that by 2020, the U.S.A. will have a shortage of some 90,000 doctors. With this new twist, the number could be far greater.

The other day, I was watching Cozi TV, a network that airs many great shows from the 1960s through the ′80s. They have some funny commercials, the latest being one for the old TV series, ″Marcus Welby, MD.′ The scene is one where Dr. Kyle delivers Dr. Welby a blueberry pie from one of his patients as payment for Welby′s services. I′ll admit, it was a very nice looking pie, chock full of blueberries. But Cozi TV ads a twist at the end of the commercial, posing a question, ″Does Medicare know he′s works for pie?″ Under Obamacare, the kindly Dr. Welby would probably be tossed in jail, prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

When Obama and his billionaire pals like George Soros and Mark Zuckerberg get immigration reform passed, the healthcare system of America will be totally swamped. Between 30 to 50 million illegal immigrants will bash their way into emergency rooms seeking drug prescriptions. Demand for Aderol, Xanax and other fun pills and patches will skyrocket as people sell their goodies on the black market. We already have a huge problem with fraud in healthcare. Medicare, for example, may have as much as $200 Billion dollars worth of fraudulent claims each year as it is now.

So the Barack Obama approval ratings are nosediving as more is learned about the failings of the Obamacare roll-out. The latest news is that only six people, nationwide, successfully navigated and enrolled for a paying health insurance policy on the first day. Saturday Night Live pretty much got it right in their SNL Obamacare skit last weekend when the actress playing Kathleen Sebelius told viewers that the Healthcare.gov website was designed to only handle six users at a time. An Obamacare ′navigator′ told Al Jazeera TV that she has yet to have a single person sign up as everyone who has discovered that it is more expensive than before. The ideal strategy for Republicans right now is to start promoting a delay in the individual mandate and offer a genuine replacement alternative. While they are at it, tell the public the truth that immigration reform must be slowed down and carefully thought out so it will not be a disaster as well.
