Every once in a while during the budget crisis that is threatening the country, the President of the United States emerges from behind closed doors to deliver a speech. He even went to a deli today to commend the place for the goodness of their sandwiches, offered at a 10% discount to government workers like himself.

But what does Barack Obama do for the other 23 hours each day to solve the problems of the country? Not much. But on Wednesday our modern-day Emperor Nero posed for his annual official White House photo portrait, something the White House tried to hide until the Press got wind.

On Day 2 of the government shutdown, the highlight of Obama’s calendar is that he posed in the Oval Office for a photoshoot by famed celebrity photographer, Tony Powell. There is no telling exactly how much time Obama took for the grand piccies, but professional sessions like this take hours to set up and conduct.
