NASA announced that the Hubble Space Telescope has discovered a ′cosmic caterpillar′ some 6 trillion miles long! How about that! The light-year long object is a massive cloud of gas and dust, officially designated as IRAS 20324+4057. Scientists believe that it is a proto-star in a very early stage of its evolution. Located some 4,500 light years from Earth, near the star cluster Cygnus OB2. Some compare this object with similar disc-shaped proto-stars which the Hubble has imaged in the Orion Nebula. The Cygnus cluster contains many stars, including 65 O-type stars, considered the hottest. A mere 15 light years away, the cosmic wind of hot gases from Cygnus probably formed the giant caterpillar.
I know, its a kooky story but I simply cannot write about Obama and Syria again today. Or how Obama wants children taught that the federal government is part of their family. Or is it more that the children belong to the government more so than to their biological parents? Or that Obama wants kindergarteners taught sex education. Or that Obama wants more gun control. Or that Obama wants to raise taxes again. Or that Obama…, you get the idea!
I was tempted to write about allegations concerning Cory Booker′s sexuality. But then, he is often compared to Obama, who we also suspect is on the ′down-low′, too! Obama is and Obama that! Obama, Obama, where are you at? Nope, just can′t do it today. I need a break! So I′m declaring an Obama-free weekend as far as myself is concerned. I don′t care if all I am left with is watching reruns of Doctor Who. I′ve had enough for one week of the idiocy that is Barack Hussein Obama!
Space, the Final Frontier! NASA announced that the Hubble Space Telescope has discovered a cosmic caterpillar some 6 trillion miles long. That is about the length of a light year! Pretty awesome if you ask me! The object of gas and dust known as IRAS 20324+4057 was discovered some 4,500 light years away from Earth. The cosmic caterpillar is thought to be a proto-star created by the cosmic wind of hot gases coming from Cygnus-OB2, just 15 light years away. With more gas and stellar material than the Orion Nebula, the Cygnus star cluster is a natural breeding ground for new stars. Will Obama launch cruise missiles against the cosmic caterpillar as it may be a threat to our national security? I say bring out the little fairie girls to sing to Mothra to protect us from the evil caterpillar!
