Barack Hussein Obama is not happy that his buddy, Mohammed Morsi, is no longer president of Egypt. The head of the Muslim Brotherhood is removed from office by the Egyptian military yesterday. After Monday when over a million people gathered in Tahrir Square in Cairo and some 17 million nationwide took to the streets to protest the Morsi regime, the choice became very clear. The military once again sided with the people and gave Morsi 48 hours to resign. He did not so he was deposed by force. In his place, the military appointed Adly Mansour, head of the Supreme Constitutional Court, as interim president until elections can be held. Obama issued a statement during his $100 Million dollar African safari vacation warning that the military should return power to a civilian authority. Guess what? They already did!

Egypt Obama

Obama has yet again created another foreign policy disaster. I suppose that the Iranian-born Valerie Jarrett will trot out Susan Rice again this weekend to do the Sunday talk shows and blame some video. But the truth is that the Egyptians saw through the lies of Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood and decided not to wait two years for elections to rid themselves of this regime. A lot can happen in two years. A lot can happen in two days, for that matter. That is all it took for the Egyptian military to step up and do what it could to protect the citizens.

As of this morning, other key officials of the Muslim Brotherhood have been arrested, joining Mohammed Morsi in an ′undisclosed′ location. No doubt Barack Hussein Obama is unhappy with this outcome in Egypt. Forget about the will of the people gathered in Tahrir Square in Cairo. Or the 17 million who protested on Monday. Obama has once again come down on the wrong side of history.
