Can Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) save America from Barack Obama and the NSA snooping scandal? Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Sen. Paul said that he is looking for 10 million Americans to join him in filing a class action lawsuit before the Supreme Court to stop the Obama regime from trashing the Fourth Amendment. He is also proposing to present legislation in the Senate to reinforce the 4th Amendment and trim the fat of the Patriot Act. Mind you, Rand Paul has no problem with the NSA surveillance of suspected terrorists. But obtaining blanket FISA court orders to allow for the wholesale, NSA spying of all phone records and Internet activity goes way beyond the limits our Constitution places upon the federal government. Would you support Rand Paul in his efforts to reform the National Security Agency?
Rand Paul has been making himself a nuisance to the Old Guard of worn-out, tiresome politicians residing in Washington, DC. Be they Dianne Feinstein, Harry Reid, John McCain or Lindsay Graham, one has to wonder what these old sour pusses still have to offer the nation? Experience? Wisdom? Hardly! It is a miracle that they can still talk without drooling all over themselves.
After his 13-hour filibuster over the White House drone program, Sen. Paul has shown that he is ready to lead the fight against Obama. With his Objectivist-Libertarian background, Rand Paul has picked up the sword handed down to him by his father, Ron Paul. But while the younger seems to be ready to slay dragons, The Establishment politicians ridicule him as one who is jousting with windmills.
So would you sign your name to a class action lawsuit which Rand Paul intends to take before the Supreme Court to end the NSA spying of phone records and Internet activity? The senator from Kentucky announced on Fox News Sunday that he is preparing a two-prong defense of the Fourth Amendment against Barack Obama and the National Security Agency. Se, Paul will also introduce legislation to curtail the NSA surveillance of American citizens by reinforcing the 4th Amendment and adding new safeguards to the Patriot Act. Is Rand Paul the man of the hour to save America from Big Government? Or will he become a Don Quixote, a broken down fool?
