Mitt Romney concedes as President Barack Obama wins a second term in office. Obama won the popular vote by about 2% and so far is credited with 303 Electoral College votes to Romney′s 206. Florida, with 29 EC votes, is still undecided though it will probably go for Obama as well. It may as well for all the good it will do him since the GOP retained a firm grip on the House. America is still divided politically as we face a barrage of economic and foreign policy challenges. While many will say that the national polls got it right, they actually did not, as there were far more ′undecideds′ than thought. Most of these folks broke for Obama in the last two days with 42% telling the exit polls that Obama′s response to Hurricane Sandy influenced them. I am certain that the people dumpster diving for food and water on Staten Island will be happy to hear that!

So what happened? How did Obama, the worst president in the history of the nation, even worse than Jimmy Carter, win a second term? Not only is Obama the first president to preside over a downgrading of our nation′s credit rating, but he is also the first to win reelection with fewer votes than he won in his first campaign. Obama′s campaign was based on a two-word memo issued in August 2011, ′KILL ROMNEY!′ So forget about any high ideals or flowery sentiments.

Here is my advice to any future Republican presidential candidates for running in 2016. First, under no circumstances should you ever write an ′op-ed′ for the New York Times! America apparently prefers politicians of dubious origins. Just look at how Minnie-Ha-Ha won her senate seat in Massachusetts. If you are a good liar with little to no paper trail to weigh you down, then you too can be elected. Another piece of advice is that when you campaign, play to win! Not just run the clock out, but hammer your opponent. In hockey, we have a saying, just don′t beat′em, BEAT′EM! Check them in the boards and give them an extra elbow. Bloody them! Politics is more than just a full contact sport, its WAR!

So yes, I will eat my crow with a smile. I played into the hands of Mitt Romney, a candidate that I did not like nor felt adequate to challenge Obama. Can you imagine Newt Gingrich holding back during the last two debates? Nope! Like a good bulldog, he would have gripped into Obama′s throat and having a short snout, would not have let go since Newty could breath just fine. Obama owes much to the Media for covering his tracks. The unfolding tragedy of Hurricane Sandy storm victims is not being covered nationally. CBS News just released more of their September 12, 60 Minutes interview which again proves that Obama lied in the second debate about calling Benghazi a terrorist attack. And so it goes on, and on, and on.

For my Liberal pals I admit being wrong about the nature of the mood of the American people. Certainly of the 47% of blood-sucking zombies that want to live their entire lives on the government dole. So for you, my act of contrition is a little song parody based on the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic, ″My Favorite Things″ from ″The Sound of Music.″ Since I lack the musical and video skills, feel free to put it on You Tube with my blessing if so motivated…
