Sometimes a picture speaks a thousand words. On Wednesday, while President Obama was conducting a photo op in New Jersey in the ruins of Hurricane Sandy to show he is a man of action, residents in neighboring New York were scrounging for food in dumpsters. Say it ain’t so, Obama.
The vivid images may be a reminder to the U.S. public that Obama had no managerial experience when he entered the presidential race in 2008. His poor stewardship of the domestic economy and U.S. foreign policy were expected at the time by many pundits, and sadly realized over the ensuing years.
But we all expected him four years later to handle a natural disaster like Hurricane Sandy properly. Unfortunately FEMA under Obama’s leadership appears to reflect the man himself rather than their vital mission to the nation. Chilling video here.
And that is too bad. Reader thoughts?

Hate to say this but… It’s a dumpster right now. In a day or two, it will be a Target or a Wal-Mart

One picture and that’s the commentary?
Not exactly going for objective here are we?
I suppose I will listen to Christie.
He was great on Fox and Friends this morning.
Steve Doozy couldn’t take the positive words about Obama and posed a question to Christie.
“You have campaigned for Romney and he has spoken of going to New Jersey to tour the damage, would you welcome that visit?”
Christie simply got visibly angry and said, “If you think I am interested in presidential politics right now you simply don’t know me”.
It is a good thing it was not live because Christie looked like he wanted to punch Doozy in the mouth.
Of course, idiots like Rush Limbaugh eviscerated Christie for the crime of telling the truth.

Maybe Buzz should listen to the mayors of Hoboken or Rockaway or Staten Island, where little to no help has reached them in the past 4 days. Sandy will be Obama’s Katrina as gas lines grow and tempers rise. People tend to get nasty after a few days w/o power or water to bath with.

The good stuff is in the New Jersey dumpsters.
But you have to be union!!!

The intellectual dishonesty is astounding.
Yes folks.
Chris Christie is endorsing Obama.
Buzz, since you think its so great that Christie does not want this politicized maybe you should follow suit and stop making it a political issue

“Buzz, since you think its so great that Christie does not want this politicized maybe you should follow suit and stop making it a political issue”
I think that started with this post and it has also been the rhetoric on Rush, Hannity, etc.

Anyhoo, media coverage of the hurricane’s aftermath by Monday will be getting ugly. Things are turning to anarchy in some parts of New York and Jersey, which we can juxtapose against POTUS making campaign speeches from a teleprompter. I believe that it will remind a few undecided voters that we have an incompetent manager as president.
