Yes, there are just 50 more days until the November elections. While most polls show Barack Obama leading Mitt Romney, a closer examination of the polling details usually shows the results skewed in favor of Obama. Some polls over represent Democrats, some under represent Independents. Dick Morris has been telling anyone who will listen to him that the polls are based on the 2008 election turn out, which probably will not be repeated this time around. For example, African-Americans made up 13% of the vote in 2008 when historically its been closer to 11% in recent elections. With the economy still weak as water and the world on fire in a new wave of anti-American protests, one has to wonder why anybody with an I.Q. over 50 would even consider voting to give Obama a second term?
Team Obama has been busy dividing the nation with classic Liberal ′wedge issues′ like abortion, welfare and taxing the rich. Their allies in the media have been busy doing anything they can to derail the Romney campaign. Last week it was criticizing Romney for his foreign policy positions. This week, the narrative appears to be how there is chaos within the Romney camp.
There is no doubt that some Republicans are getting nervous as the calendar shrinks towards November 6th. Given the dismal state of the economy, coupled with scenes of the American flag being dragged down and burned, it would seem logical to assume that Mitt Romney should win the election in a landslide. That Obama is Jimmy Carter – Part Two. Of course, the flip-side to this music is that Liberal Democrats have spent the last 50 years steadily building an underclass of citizens wholly dependent on government. The bottom 50% of the income earners only pay about 2.5% of all income tax revenue, while the top 1% pays 37%, and then gets the vast majority of government assistance. Food stamps, for example, have reached an all-time high with over 46 million recipients.
Barack Obama and the Democrats can only stay in power by expanding and appealing to the beggar class. With just 50 days to go until the November elections, Mitt Romney must drive home the point that now is the time to turn the nation around from this disturbing trend of government dependency. Failing this, America is doomed to become a fiscal quagmire if Obama gets another term in the White House.

Buzz, your opinions, using my facts, are entertaining as well.
Sooo… tell me please.
If there are so many “nuances”(your words) to the causes of todays Middle East turmoil then why is this president and staff blaming only one man/video ?
September 18th, 2012 at 8:22 pm
“Nothing Romney said either last week about Libya or months ago about the “47%” are factually incorrect. The 47% do not pay income taxes therefore Romney’s plan to lower tax rates across the board really do not mean anything to them.”
We’ll just overlook the part about how you just can’t get 47% of the population to take responsibility for themselves, they feel victimized, they feel entitled to handouts, and that’s why Obama gets 47% of the vote.
Can a guy who has $100 million in an IRA account be a straight shooter?
(Also, can you show me the quote where “the administration” “apologized” for “american values” and “expressed sympathy” for violent islamic mobs instead of their victims? C’mon Andy. When it is indefensible, stop defending it and move on.)
September 18th, 2012 at 8:52 pm
Thinker…
Is that some kind of rebuttal ?
Pretty lame.
Obama wants an entitlement society constructed out of wealth redistribution.
Its the oldest liberal play and gets repeated every 4 years to convince blacks and minorities that they are victims of evil people who made it in life.
Hes stated bluntly, many times,as a senator and president that he favors wealth redistribution.
And cut the crap.
I already showed you examples of Barry and this administration apologizing to radicals.

“Obama wants an entitlement society constructed out of wealth redistribution. Its the oldest liberal play and gets repeated every 4 years to convince blacks and minorities that they are victims of evil people who made it in life.”
Who said anything about “blacks and minorities”? Please explain that in relation to Romney’s comments, which seemed to relate to people who don’t pay federal income taxes, expect handouts from government, and take no responsibility for themselves, and are 47% of the population.
September 19th, 2012 at 5:51 am
@ Ronald
In regards to that part of the Romney remark, once again he is being honest. If you add up all the different bases of Obama support, it would come to about 47%. They pretty much all buy into the whole entitlement-society/wealth redistribution nonsense. Sorry, but I really do not see what the problem here is about what Romney said. Time to go fish in another pond.

@ BTT
Here is what Obama said in 1998 at Loyola University:
“I think the trick is figuring out how do we structure government systems that pool resources, and hence facilitate some redistribution, because I actually believe in redistribution, at least at a certain level, to make sure that everybody has a shot,”
September 19th, 2012 at 6:02 am
@ BTT
Here is one Obama quote during an interview with Al Arabiya on 1/27/2009:
“My job to the Muslim world is to communicate that the Americans are not your enemy. We sometimes make mistakes. We have not been perfect.”
There are many more:

@ Buzzbee
Actually, my main point was that the stock market doubled due to inflation, thanks to Obama and Bernanke dumping dollars by the truck load.
There is little doubt that key information which led to locating bin Laden came from actions taken during the Bush administration. Not to mention the reorganizing of the military which Rumsfeld did helped considerably, i.e. the whole drone program.
Do you really think GM would not be still around had they gone through a ‘normal’ bankruptcy process? How do you explain the success that Ford has been having?
The American economy certainly tanked once Democrats took over Congress. Once that happened, there was little hope of avoiding the housing bubble burst. Plus, I still contend that once it became clear in the summer of 2008 that Obama was probably going to be the next president, that a whole lot of money people began going on the defensive fearing an Obama tax increase.
September 19th, 2012 at 6:23 am
“Who said anything about “blacks and minorities”? Please explain that in relation to Romney’s comments, which seemed to relate to people who don’t pay federal income taxes, expect handouts from government, and take no responsibility for themselves, and are 47% of the population.”Thats about right.
Its interesting to watch the liberal spin on this.
First they mention that a percentage of that 47% are seniors, the rest families with kids.
But nowhere do they mention the fact that theres still, among everyone, 47% that are dependent on some government assistance, monthly check, or food stamps.
And yes, there is a 47% of our population like you that is so immersed in re-distributive moonbattery that you will vote for Barack Marx no matter what truths hit you upside the head.
Call it anyway you want.
Those receiving out number those paying.
6 trillion bucks in 4 years,16 TRILLION TOTAL, at 40 cents on each of those borrowed dollars has GOT TO STOP !!!
September 19th, 2012 at 8:22 am
Andy, you once again avoid the argument and insist on creating your own. The argument is not the percentage of people that will not vote for Romney. Yet, instead of manning up, you double down that “all he said” was about who would not vote for him. You also endorse the concept that if you don’t support Romney, you’re a deadbeat leach who demands the government gives you hand outs at to you anything you want or “you name it”. Romney’s selling some concept that Obama is a divisive President while telling half the nations they are dregs of society and that he really has no interest in them. Disabled vets do should be ashamed of themselves for expecting to be entitled not to starve in the streets they’ve fought to protect. And Romney’s response to disable Vets, retirees on social security and medicare, displaced workers on unemployment, people in need of medical services without insurance, the handicapped is “they just think they’re victims and as far as help “the government should not give it to them” because it isn’t “My job is is not to worry about those people”.
It comes as no surprise that you see no problem with that.
September 19th, 2012 at 9:57 am
“The argument is not the percentage of people that will not vote for Romney.”
Yes it is. Thats the point he was making.
Thats why you’re blabbing all your crap.
Who votes for who is what this is all about.
“My job is is not to worry about those people”.
As far as their votes go, theres no point in worrying about them.
As I said;
” there is a 47% of our population like you that is so immersed in re-distributive moonbattery that you will vote for Barack Marx no matter what truths hit you upside the head.”
Capice ?
“you’re a deadbeat leach who demands the government gives you hand outs at to you anything you want or “you name it”.”
Yeah, birth control, abortions, mortgages, Solyndra, and all the morons he wasted trillions bailing out.
More than half the country voted for the guy who said he’d spread the wealth.
WTF dont you get about that ?
We are where we are at because of deadbeat leeches.
Now, while Romneys words are open to many nuanced interpretations theres no nuanced interpretations to dickheads quotes which solidify my argument one hundred percent.
“” But, the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth, and of more basic issues such as political and economic justice in society. To that extent, as radical as I think people try to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn’t that radical. It didn’t break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution, at least as its been interpreted and Warren Court interpreted in the same way, that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. Says what the states can’t do to you. Says what the Federal government can’t do to you, but doesn’t say what the Federal government or State government must do on your behalf, and that hasn’t shifted and one of the, I think, tragedies of the civil rights movement was, um, because the civil rights movement became so court focused I think there was a tendancy to lose track of the political and community organizing and activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalition of powers through which you bring about redistributive change. In some ways we still suffer from that.”
http://www.stoptheaclu.com/2008/10/26/audio-obama-the-marxist/
Lets see you spin that crap into ice cream.
“It didn’t break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution, at least as its been interpreted and Warren Court interpreted in the same way, that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. Says what the states can’t do to you. Says what the Federal government can’t do to you, but doesn’t say what the Federal government or State government must do on your behalf,”
Its a pretty far cry from Kennedys ” ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country.

Dan The Mule Says:
Mick,
“Not every single democrat thinks they’re a victim, you just have your little partisan shades on. You’re confusing the leftist fringe with the left as a whole. My wife and I both voted for Obama, we both earn very respectable salaries and neither of us feels like a victim. Pull your head out.
- Dan”
You and the rest of the 47 + % voted for a guy who wants to “level the playing field” ,”spread the wealth”,is “in favor of wealth redistribution”,and says “at some point you’ve made enough money”,told Latinos “if you want to punish your enemies”.

Hi Andy:
“Here is one Obama quote during an interview with Al Arabiya on 1/27/2009:”
Nice try. Can you confine your answer to Romney’s attack on the Cairo embassy statement that was the subject of controversy last week, as referenced in your OP?
Hi Micky!
Nice try. How do you get the “Blacks and minorities” bit from Romney’s comments? I am curious.
September 20th, 2012 at 3:36 am
@ BTT
The statement Romney was complaining about on the Cairo embassy attack came from diplomats in Cairo. Initially, the State Department in WDC supported the statement, which included the ‘pre-apology’ about the You Tube video. As we now know, about nine hours after the statement was issued, a mob then began protesting and eventually assaulted the embassy.
September 20th, 2012 at 3:40 am
@ Ronald,
I was not avoiding the subject. You, yourself, quoted a different part of Romney’s speech which was on a different, but related subject. If one adds up Obama’s base of die-hard supporters, it would probably be close to 47% whom will vote for Obama no matter what since they agree with his stance on Big Government and redistribution.
September 20th, 2012 at 3:41 am
BTW, BTT, are you not curious about what the missing 2 minutes of the recording that Jimmy Carter’s grandson supplied Mother Jones was about?
September 20th, 2012 at 7:36 am
I’m wondering Andy, if you can actually look back at what you write with a straight face.
For starters, it’s a known fact that only 18% of workers pay no income or payroll tax. Regardless, surely you understand that a lot of Obama supporters are quite wealthy. And it should be within your grasp of comprehension to agree that many of that 47% of non federal income tax payers are Romney supporters, or folks that will not vote Obama. They would include many disabled vets, retired workers, and displaced or underemployed workers who are adamant gun supporters, Pro Life, Evangelicals, anti gay marriage, and the list just goes on. There really is no evidence that seniors or parents raising children, because of being exempt from federal income tax, have become more liberal as a result of that. As a matter of fact, seniors and suburban families have actually turned more conservative over recent years.
Now stay with me as this is important (finger wagging), the 47% that pay no taxes (aside from a significant # of Fortune 500 companies, who are people too, who paid negative taxes, which Romney supports even lower taxes than that for them, which may very well include Romney which suggests what he may be hiding) are mainly made up of the very poor, seniors, veterans, and families raising children.
Your claim “it would probably be close to 47% whom will vote for Obama no matter what since they agree with his stance on Big Government and redistribution” should be divorced from reality by even your standards.
While the GOP is scrambling to pick of the pieces, Democratic polls surge, prominent GOP leaders are ducking, and the Romney campaign goes into full blown damage control, you basically parrot Mitt who was saying that the 47% of non-federal income tax paying Americans are essentially deadbeats pretending to be victims, looking for a handout by choice, and will only vote for policies that promote their laziness. But wait(finger wagging once more) He went on to say that he has no interest in that half of the country and that the government needs to change this. So it should stand to reason that Mitt has every intentions of raising taxes on those that can least afford it while lowering taxes on corporations that already pay near zero to negative taxes. While amongst his wealthy cohorts, Mitt insured his push for Plutocracy and Social Darwinism. There’s your argument.
September 20th, 2012 at 8:26 am
“Hi Micky!
Nice try. How do you get the “Blacks and minorities” bit from Romney’s comments? I am curious.”
Because its a fact that the majority of moonbats are blacks and minorities.
I said it, not him, so stop your strawman bs as if I said Romney said it.
Simple enough ?
My point, like it or not, is that these people have been defined by the left as victims and sold that bill of goods by the left for over 50 years now and they’re still b!tching about the same crap they were b!tching about 50 years ago.
Romney said “victims”.
Are so freaking ignorant or obtuse that you dont know the demographics of all those poor people being oppressed by rich white folk ?
Give it a rest and knock off the intellectual dishonesty only in order to appear as if you have an argument worth a crap.
“Your claim “it would probably be close to 47% whom will vote for Obama no matter what since they agree with his stance on Big Government and redistribution” should be divorced from reality by even your standards.”
At least 47% will vote for Barry this time around also.
Why ?
Because they don’t mind the record breaking growth in government we’ve seen in 3 years and they don’t give two squats who pays their bills in the future.
September 20th, 2012 at 8:38 am
Heh, Ron & Thinker are obfuscating, worried about stupid little pedantic crap, trying to trip up people over unsubstantial crap and wont even go near post # 36 where Barry calls freedom from over=bounding state authorities “negative” and how the constitution fails to say what the fed and states must do for you.
September 20th, 2012 at 8:40 am
“over-binding state authorities”… …sorry
September 20th, 2012 at 9:29 am
Saw a great clip on the Daily Show of Craig T. Nelson on Fox saying, “I was poor, I collected welfare and food stamps, but nobody did anything for me”.
Priceless.
Fox delivers more entertainment per hour than any other station.

“Because its a fact that the majority of moonbats are blacks and minorities.”
The Democratic Party is comprised of 63% non-Hispanic whites and 37% that are categorized as minorities.
September 20th, 2012 at 9:44 am
I’ve seen this movie already. I know a lot about false political messiahs that promise wealth distribution, been in more than one banana-republic. Prepare for ultra-corruption, generalized poverty and unchecked government power-grab. Meh, we are already there.
September 20th, 2012 at 10:31 am
““Because its a fact that the majority of moonbats are blacks and minorities.”
The Democratic Party is comprised of 63% non-Hispanic whites and 37% that are categorized as minorities.”
Yeah, you’re a freakin genius, that was obviously a simple mistake.
The majority of blacks and Hispanics, minorities are moonbats.
Glad to see your arguments have become so substantial.
FOX bla bla.
Liberals only pick on FOX and give all other outlets a pass.
Very telling.
You’re as bad as radical Muslims who cant take any truth or criticism.

WTF is “non Hispanic white” ?
Is it the same as a non Negro white ?
Or a non American Indian white ?
Or a non Asian white ?
You people are sick
