The Obamaloney was flying fast and thick on Monday as Barack Obama paid a surprise visit to the White House Press Room. Jay Carney stepped aside and let his boss take a few questions during the impromptu press conference. Obama once again lied when asked about the highly negative tone from his own campaign against Mitt Romney. Specifically about members of his campaign staff alleging that Romney may be a felon. Several weeks ago, Obama deputy campaign manager, Stephanie Cutter, said of Romney not releasing ten years worth of tax returns and Bain Capital documents that he may be hiding something, either because he may have committed a felony or is trying to cover up his involvement with Bain Capital after 1999. During the press conference yesterday, Obama denied that anyone from his campaign accused Romney of being a felon. Obama also tried to pretend that he has been open and transparent with his own personal history.
Obama has not held a formal press conference since March. It has been about eight weeks since his last informal presser held during the G-20 Summit in Chicago. Obama has been avoiding any serious questions from the White House Press Corps choosing instead to be interviewed by local news outlets as well as more entertainment-geared sources like People Magazine and Entertainment Tonight. No advance warning was given for yesterday′s appearance in the White House Briefing Room, thus the few questions asked were unprepared.
So once again Obama is trying to make Romney′s tax returns a campaign issue. But Obama is quite wrong when he said that there was a precedent for releasing multiple years. Most presidential candidates only release two years worth of returns or financial statements. In 2008, Senator John McCain only released 2 years, and he is about as wealthy as Romney is, though mostly thanks to his wife being wealthy. In 2004, Teresa Heinz Kerry refused to release much in the way of her financial statements, even though she and John Kerry are wealthier than Romney. Obama also mentioned about releasing medical records, but did not mention releasing his school records, which is also normal. Many suspect that Obama′s college transcripts may show that he gamed the system by using a Fulbright scholarship at Columbia by claiming to be a foreign student from Indonesia. Obama was adopted by his mother′s second husband, Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian national and lived there for about six years.
But the Obamaloney came yesterday when Obama lied about his campaign not accusing Romney of being a felon. Stephanie Cutter, the deputy campaign manager for Obama′s reelection committee, did indeed allege that Romney might be a felon due to his being listed on several Bain Capital documents after he had stepped down in 1999 to oversee the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Obama also painted himself as a hypocrite during Monday′s surprise appearance at the White House press briefing, saying that presidential candidates should release all personal information such as tax returns and health records. But Obama did not include school records, which could prove once and for all his citizenship status. In 2000, the release of such school records revealed that George W. Bush got better grades than ′Internet-Inventor′ Al Gore.

You know how it goes. When people hide things, is routine to wonder what they are hiding. My theory is his original birth certificate listed his religion as Muslim and the campaign didn’t want that out there. Either that or he really was born in Kenya just like his granny said. Who knows what is in those college transcripts!

I’m not sure he should be fairly called a “Muslim.” He WAS a Muslim and (fair enough) other Muslims believe once a Muslim always a Muslim or die, but he did attend Christian church for a while although he was never baptized. But the rest of your adjectives seem appropriate in describing your president.

It is a documented fact that Barry Obama was adopted by Lolo Soetoro when Lolo married Barry’s mom. We’ve seen the school record from Indonesia where Barry Soetoro is listed as not only his religion being being Muslim but his nationality as being Indonesian. Then there is the matter of how Barry used an Indonesian passport to travel to Pakistan with one of his college chums.
I might add that Wayne Allen Root, former Libertarian candidate, who attended Columbia at the same time and in the same course program as Obama says he never saw Obama on campus, nor did any of the other students that Wayne knew. So did Obama even bother attending classes? What were his grades? What was his status as a citizen?

It is very difficult to gain a degree without, you know, attending classes, especially in the Ivy League.
Did he get preferential treatment? Why would he, as he was just another student at the time.
College classes are often comprised of 70 students, so not remembering a fellow attendee is certainly not surprising.
Who do I remember from those days?
Easy, the good looking women. Other than that, ummm, no one.

Focusing on his education is also probably not a wise choice as he didn’t attend some lame school like Southwest Missouri State (you know, the school Rush Limbaugh attended for 2 semesters, but in the words of his Mother, “He flunked everything”), he graduated from Harvard. You know, a “real” school.

Buzz, it will be vital for historians to understand why Obama speaks at a 6th grade level. Those transcripts are going to be important to understanding the man whether you or pro or con. What actual defense do you offer for their secrecy?

I probably wouldn’t divulge school records until an opportune time in the campaign if at all.
Wait until you guys start frothing at the mouth, just like the birth certificate nonsense (I know, most of you still don’t believe it and wouldn’t if it was on film), and then pull out the transcipts for full effect.
It always kills me in my industry that we could be hiring someone for a management position and the individual might be 48 years old and some people examine the transcripts like it happened yesterday.
Let’s see, he got a C- in French as a junior, I don’t know if we should hire him?
Ummm…do we plan on sending him to France?

Most of these contracts are awarded to Union backed state employees as 40% of this state works for the state or fed, DOT, DOE, etc.
If it werent for tourism this state would be screwed.

Nobody cares about C- in French. Our president eats fois gras after all. What would be interesting in a particularly bad semester across all classes (why?), multiple D and F grades, academic detentions or other disciplinary problems on record. I don’t think college transcripts typically include the application documents which might include a life story essay or more on Obama’s background. But those would be useful for historians if either school retains them.

Eh, only a few gave a sht and it was mostly due to his being so apprehensive and intriguing about the whole thing.
Most people never doubted his citizenship, including me who along with Patrick suspected the “Muslim” element being disclosed would screw him up big time.
Bottom line is this…
“Most transparent administration ever” was ANOTHER LIE when they have actually been the most questionable from Solyndra to Fast & Furious to not even knowing or reading whats in a 3000 page legislation that Pelosi said must pass before being known.
Seriously, how can so many of you keep defending this guy and why dont you confront him ?
