Barack Obama is using a lawsuit to suppress the military vote in Ohio, a key swing state. A state law allows for an extra three days of early voting in Ohio for members of the US military, including National Guard and reservists. The Obama for America campaign, along with the DNC and Ohio Democrat Party filed the lawsuit to overturn the law, which was meant to compensate for military voter disenfranchisement that has been chronicled the last three elections. So, once again, the Obama administration is attempting to stack the deck for the elections, hoping to be able to throw out as many military voter ballots as possible. Just another day in the Obama ′War on America.′
Obama is indeed at war with America. He is at war against Capitalism. War against religion. War against Catholics. War against Women. War against small businesses. War against oil. War against coal. Obama is now even waging war against school discipline! An executive order Obama signed last week will attempt to force schools to raise the threshold required to expel or discipline black students while lowering the threshold to expel or discipline white students.
How tragic our national politics have become since Obama took office. The shameless Obama thinks he can do whatever he wants. His goal is to destroy America, reducing our great nation into a wasteland. Luckily, America is fighting back! The Chick-Fil-A episode this week shows that the country is ready to give Obama the finger. Millions of Americans, including Blacks, Hispanics and Muslims, all oppose same sex marriage. Is it any coincidence that the Barack Obama campaign is raising less money lately since he changed his stance on gay marriage? No! America has had enough! Come November, Obama will be voted out of power and then we can start to recover our morality and common sense.

“Many of you sure do have a “religiousity” about your views.
Nothing can deter you.”
Aww, give it rest.
intellectual dishonesty is whats taking place.
The military has always had extended privileged voting nationwide.
Theres more than one way to lie and when your man has failed 3 out of 4 corners you’ll omit, present items out of context, claim discrimination of whatever applies be it voting, race, gay
The rest of your post is irrelevant.
But I’ll humor you.
The rest that left got their asses handed to them for lying and grew tired of trying to turn sht into ice cream.
As one who subscribed to liberal ideology all his life and been 90% right of center for the last 13-14years I can honestly say I’d cut of my right index finger to of had Clinton run the show for the last 3 1/2 years.
Obama is a horrible, horrible President.

Since 2005, Ohio has had in person early-voting in the three days prior to the election. This year, however, the Republican legislature in Ohio eliminated early voting during this period, except for members of the military.
Simple as that.
The Republicans are trying to eliminate something that was not in their favor and the Democrats are trying to gain it back.
No right or wrong, simply politics.
No different than gerrymandering.
I can’t believe every issue is a “let’s throw down” battle that is purportedly between good and evil. Keyboard warriors.
Geez, can I buy a round of Xanax for everyone?
August 5th, 2012 at 8:35 pm
So Buzz, I want to know how the attempt by Obama to strip the military of a centuries old right translates to your statement ?
Your argument is disingenuous at best.
All of Ohio gets to vote early except military stationed there and/or which are deployed.
August 5th, 2012 at 8:39 pm
Like I told KLO, its not the first time the left pulled this crap on the troops.
“Barack Obama, who once claimed he supported gay marriage because of the soldiers “fighting on my behalf,” evidently cannot be bothered to defend those same soldiers’ right to vote.”

So spare me.
You validate my reasoning in # 26
August 5th, 2012 at 10:07 pm
Did you read what was written?
Everyone could vote three days early.
The Republicans eliminated everyone but the military.
The Democrats want to restore that privelege for everyone.
Very simple. The Republicans would like to keep it limited to the military for political reasons, while the Democrats would like to restore it for everyone for the very same reason.
There are no angels or heroes here, simply politicians doing what politicians do.
There is really nothing else to it.
August 6th, 2012 at 5:54 am
Buzz and the rest,
Ohio, like most states, allow for absentee ballots weeks before an election date. So ALL Ohioans already have an opportunity to vote for more than just three days.
Military personnel and others who live overseas need extra time to vote. As I mentioned before, are you also now going to stop cities from extending their voting hours since the rest of the state is not?
Obama and the Democrats will do whatever they can to suppress the vote of the military, since they know it usually runs 3:1 in favor of Republicans.
August 6th, 2012 at 7:44 am

Well, of course they will, just as Republicans will try to suppress the vote of groups that are known to favor Democrats.
This is breaking news?

“Did you read what was written?

Yeah.
And the only people who should be allowed early votes are military and a few civilian exceptions to the rule.
We civilians already have the “privilege” of voting on election day.
Why not move all 50 states up 3 days ?
Because the majority of those civilians in those states have always been able to make it there on election day.
Since neither you or gok will answer my questions, I have my answer.
August 6th, 2012 at 11:15 am
“This is breaking news?”
I’m just a little partial to those who are actually willing to die to preserve our rights and privileges. If you think the military has some kind pf monopoly and theres too many of them, vote for Ron Paul.
I cant even vote because of possessing one fcking joint 30 years ago.
This kind of sht makes me physically and mentally ill
August 6th, 2012 at 1:10 pm
GOK is correct.
What the Obama campaign requested was a preliminary injunction that doesn’t seek to restrict military voting but simply asked that the full early voting period be open to all citizens, just like it was under last year’s law. This was even admitted by Fox News, “the lawsuit does not restrict the ability of military personnel to cast their ballots early.
In reality, it is Mitt Romney promoting restricting voting rights for 900K vets.
This is no more than the usual dishonesty of today’s desperate and hate filled radical right. Andrew tosses out another lie and then tries to either justify it, whitewash it, or cover it up (or a combination of any plus you can name your own) with a few paragraphs of ranting, bashing diatribe.
Andrew, does your froth short out many keyboards or do you have one of those soft rubber indestructible ones?
August 7th, 2012 at 5:56 am
According to records from the State of Ohio, in the last three election cycles, some 89,000 military votes were disqualified due to the ballots arriving late. So apparently there was a problem therefore a solution of giving the military extra time as a remedy.

This is why I treat you like sht. FOX admits nothing, and why should they have to ?
Was there an incorrect or bias presentation at first ?
Also, the unanswered question still remains among your bullsht.
Why should anyone, swing state or not, receive the same privilege as the military that was designed to count their votes in time ?
You have nothing of substance to back your accusations.
And then of course theres your little subliminal, if not blatant personal attacks weaved into everything you say.
Everyone gets 4 years to prepare for their trip to the nearest poll.
Why the fck and how the fck did we ever come up with three day voting periods for civilians ?
Whatever happened to “election day”?
I understand the dynamics at play for someone who believes he may lose in a particular state.
With a few exceptions to the rules, surgeries, disabled, allowing all these different span options for anyone besides military is bullsht.
Andy may froth, but at least it comes from an orifice closest to his brain.
Your keyboard must have sht stuck between all the keys because what you present on my screen looks as if you squatted and pushed.
August 7th, 2012 at 8:42 am
Andy, you appear to be lost in your own delusion. Mitt Romney is supporting Ohio’s Republican decision that does away with three days of early voting for all but those covered under the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voter Act aka UOCAVA. This support restricts of voting rights for as many as 913,000 Ohio veterans as they no longer apply.
Ohio has had in person early-voting in the three days before the election since 2005. That changed as Republican leaders eliminated early voting except for military members. Obama wants to restore voting rights for all Ohioans.
What’s being disguised as “Obama suppresses military vote in Ohio”, which is about as blatantly dishonest as you can get, is the fact that most of these 913,000 veterans work full time or multiple jobs which makes the single day in person vote a hardship for them. And that my friend, is the real reason Ohio Republicans made the change.
August 7th, 2012 at 10:01 am
What a bunch o crap.
Veterans are not stuck overseas and even have access to absentee ballots.
Both parties should knock off this crap as it disenfranchises the only real form of democracy this country has.
Employers “must” allow an employee time off to vote.
So this is pure bullsht I dont care what laws have been in place since when.
But hey ! Now we dont need I.D.s !
That is a problem worth worrying about when you invite 6 milion illegals to stay
August 8th, 2012 at 5:45 am
This law has nothing to do with stopping Ohioans from voting early. They can easily do so with an absentee ballot.
Of course, Ohio was one of the target states where ACORN sent in their hoards to cast illegal absentee ballots for Obama in 2008.

By law employers must give them time to vote, so…. yer fullofit again.
These veterans, God bless them, are basically civilians and are not overseas performing active duties such as the sniper who stays in one spot sometimes for days shtting and pssing himself waiting for the shot, or the soldier whos arms just got blown off for your right to distort, and vote.
The right plays this game also by retaining ancient post slavery era legislation preventing felons from voting.
Most felons are liberals, anyone whos been exposed to penal institutions knows this.
Ironically, theres very little sharing or wealth redistribution among them inside or outside prison walls
I’m a convicted felon who hurt no one.
If I were a liberal felon and republicans restored my right to vote, they would get that vote.
But, of course I’m no liberal mostly because even though being stripped of the 2nd and voting, Republicans and Conservatism still rocks the ass off the left.
August 8th, 2012 at 1:02 pm
Andy, you continue to avoid reality and repeat a debunked lie. It restricts early voting rights for as many as 913,000 Ohio veterans as they no longer qualify under UOCAVA. I somehow visualize you as covering your ears and singing “la,la,la I can’t hear you”. Slap yourself man, this isn’t opinion or some left talking point but rather facts.
But you run from reality and then counter with yet another false accusation that ACORN allowed mass quantities of illegal votes to be cast in Ohio, as if that lie gives some credence to your previous lie.
August 8th, 2012 at 1:20 pm
You might as well cease, Ronald, as you will hurt yourself banging your head against the wall.
The entire post was debunked in ten minutes, but over and over it was stated that this was some anti-military initiative.
It wasn’t, isn’t, and everyone knew it, but some people never want the truth to get in the way of a good story.
August 9th, 2012 at 4:51 am
Talk about debunking, are there really 913,000 ACTIVE DUTY military personnel living in Ohio??? No, there certainly is not! Those no longer living overseas in the military cam easily vote early with an absentee ballot weeks before an election.
ACORN was recruiting college students from outside Ohio, putting them up at ’safe houses’ where they could apply for absentee ballots and game The System.
August 9th, 2012 at 4:52 am
Hah! Right on, Buzz! Ronald needs to learn that he’ll get no quarter here.
August 9th, 2012 at 8:24 am
Good God !!
Is there an agreement here ?
Off topic question for the tech ignorant.
Why is it that my human check box Will not appear sometimes ?
It can be rather frustrating.
“How can you eat your pudding if you cant eat your meat?”
August 9th, 2012 at 6:19 pm
Who said anything about 900K on active duty? Not I nor is that even relevant. But when attempting to rationalize with you, what’s relevance or such have anything to do with anything? We’re talking about 900K vets.
I too agree with buzz. When you’re trying to communicate with an admitted bigot, an exposed blatant liar, an obvious blind partisan hack, or someone so induced from their hate infested kool-aid that they can’t even stay focused on the reality of vets vrs active duty, I suppose head banging was an appropriate analogy.
August 9th, 2012 at 8:13 pm
“We’re talking about 900K vets.”
Which has nothing to do with nothing as was previously mentioned but for some stunted reasoning you keep bringing up vets as I already made the distinction between active duty service persons deserving 3 extra days and not the whole friggin state.
Scroll up shmuck.
I get along just fine with the leftys here who treat myself and others like humans absent empty condescending snobbery such as yours.
You’re just a wordy troll who thinks he’s so very astute and yet never made a valid point.
Dont talk bigotry Ronald.
You’re the biggest bigot ever with all your pre- determined personal attacks on anything right of far left idiocy.
August 10th, 2012 at 6:45 am
Ditto to what Micky said, Ronald. We are talking about currently active military, whether full-time or reserve, which is about 89,000 people. YOU are the one confusing the issue with this 913,000 veteran number, whom, as I have already said, can still vote early with absentee ballots.
