Secretary of State Hillary Clinton received a nasty reception on her first visit to Egypt following the election of Muslim Brotherhood president, Mohammed Morsi. Her motorcade was pelted by tomatoes and shoes by angry Egyptians, who chanted ″Monica! Monica!″, in reference to Monica Lewinski. The shame of her husband′s affair with his former White House intern was not the only soar issue. During statements given by Clinton, advocating that the Egyptian military cooperate with the Muslim Brotherhood, the military released its own statement saying that they will not allow the fundamentalists to dominate Egyptian politics. Clinton moves on to Israel, her first visit there in two years.
You have to feel sorry for Hillary Rodham Clinton. Bad enough that her husband Bill is a cheating dog. Or that Barack Obama stole the Democrat primary from her. Now she actually has to travel about supporting the Obama administration no matter how flawed its foreign policy is.
Egypt, which had been a reliable ally under the rule of Hosni Mubarak, is rapidly becoming a basket case. Two Americans are currently being held hostage there by radical Islamists. The new Muslim Brotherhood administration is sending mixed signals about continuing their relationship with Israel. Whether the military can stand as a moderating force is unclear.
One thing that is now clear is that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has her work cut out for her if peace is to be maintained between Egypt and Israel. After this demonstration of contempt by the Egyptian people, throwing tomatoes and shoes at Hillary while chanting ″Monica! Monica!″, she is going to have a hard time selling the Egyptians anything. The Muslim Brotherhood, led by Mohammed Morsi, seems prepared to go their own way and break from treaty agreements. As with most fundamentalist Islamists, they are showing little respect for a woman.

I thought the story was the demonstrators are POed because they think the US meedled and had some impact on the Muslim Brotherhood winning the election.
It must be comforting for you to know that you have colleagues in Egypt, others that hate our Secretary of State. Say, why don’t you all just MOVE there?

The military cooperate with the muslim brotherhood is she crazy? Hillary can fly off well protected while the Egyptians deals with these nutty leaders. Obama and Hillary are lazy. Those two are more intested in their image or popularity then actually make life better for the masses.

I do feel sorry for Hillary. Obama stole her nomination with the help of his pals in ACORN and SEIU fixing the caucuses in 2008. Then, after Obama tagged her and her husband as racists, she still swallowed her pride, once again, for the good of the Democrat Party and joined the Obama administration. Now she has to execute his policies. Poor girl.

She is part of an administration that is responsible for overthrowing the Mubarak regime which was a mistake (as usual) now she is paying for it. Of course obama himself will not go to the hostile region that he created.
She didn’t swallow her pride for the good of the democrat socialist party, she’s setting herself up for 2016. All the clinton people are voting for Romney and secretly hope Romney wins while publicly saying they are for obama.
Personally I believe she is a woman scorned with possibly no pride working for obama. She just said Romney’s ad that has her denouncing obama’s lies in 2008 was a waste of money. I rest my case.
