Barack and Michelle Obama were interviewed by Charlie Rose for CBS News yesterday. This was the ′scheduling conflict′ that ′forced′ Obama to avoid appearing at the NAACP meeting. The interview will be aired on Sunday, but a clip is already floating on TV where Rose asks Obama for his biggest mistake. To which Barack Obama explains that he was not a good ′salesman′, that the communication side getting his agenda passed. That we, The People, fail to understand him, apparently because Obama did not ′dumb-down′ his message enough for us. I suppose that means that if we were all members of the White Shoe Club, those having graduated from Harvard, Yale or Princeton, then we would ′get′ Obama and be happy with the new normal of the unemployment rate, and gasoline prices, being twice as high as when he took office.

obama misunderstood

Right! I have been saying, and writing, for a while now about how I think Obama is becoming unhinged, mentally. That his egomania is getting worse due to his obvious failures as president. So his answer to Charlie Rose is not surprising, nor is it new. He′s said the same before. Many of his surrogates in the Media as well have complained that the American people are too stupid to appreciate Obama.

I′m sure the NAACP appreciates Obama. Here he disses them, just ′phoning-in′ with a video instead of a live appearance, letting Joe Biden represent him with another insane, rant-vent speech. Maybe Obama was afraid that he might get booed as Mitt Romney did by the NAACP given how Blacks have fared so poorly under his administration with higher unemployment rates or his ′newly-found′ support of gay marriage? Some Democrats, like Nancy Pelosi, think Mitt Romney deliberately went to the NAACP convention in Houston to get booed in order to curry support from racists. Perhaps Obama avoided the convention deliberately to help him from the sagging poll numbers with white voters who never attended college?

How ever you slice it, Barack Obama and his reelection campaign are crossing the line into Kook-ville, particularly with his latest attacks against Mitt Romney and Bain Capital. As usual, since Obama has ZERO experience in the private sector, Obama does not grasp the fact that it typically takes 2 to 3 years for a former CEO of a corporation to be ′unwound′ from all of the paperwork. It is pretty ridiculous that the Obama campaign is making such hay out of four or so documents from Bain over a period of three years after Romney left when Mitt′s name was not on the other hundreds, if not thousands, of documents the corporation would have generated during that period.

Barack Obama told Charlie Rose that his biggest mistake is that we, The People, do not understand him. That Obama did not communicate well enough to be fully appreciated. The interview for CBS News was the reason why Obama avoided attending the NAACP convention in Houston, Texas. The same where just the day before, the NAACP audience booed Mitt Romney for his criticism of Obama-Care. Maybe we do not understand Obama, but Obama certainly does not understand the private sector, as exemplified in his campaign′s on-going attacks about Bain Capital.
