If the latest polls are correct, Barack Obama is failing to convince voters, especially Independents, that Mitt Romney will hurt the poor and middle class while only helping the rich. The class warfare attacks by Obama are gaining him no ground and, in fact, now appear to be hurting his reelection bid for the White House. The ABC News/Washington Post poll shows the race a dead even tie at 47% each nationwide. But among Independents, Romney now has a significant lead at 53% to 41%. Some polls show Independents breaking towards Romney at a 20-point rate over Obama. Have the American people become fed up with the endless distortions of facts and general lack of a plan by the Obama administration?

obama class warfare

The answer would seem to be – YES! Let us just look at this week′s theme of ′tax cuts′ by Obama. Obama likes to claim that he has not raised taxes on the middle class and has indeed cut them each year. But the truth is that all Obama has done is to continue to extend the Bush Tax Cuts, which he proposes to do so again for one more year. Even among fellow Democrats, like Nancy Pelosi and Charles Schumer, both who want to cut-off the extension at $1 Million dollars of annual household income, whereas Obama wants the cut-off at $250,000.

The hypocrisy comes in many flavors. Aside from the old argument by Democrats that the Bush Tax Cuts ONLY benefited the ′rich′, now the Democrats cannot agree on who is rich? In 2010, after the Tea Party pummeled Obama and the Democrats in the mid-term elections, Obama rushed through a two-year extension of the Bush Tax Cuts, claiming that in the economic environment that any tax increases would be bad. All of the latest economic indicators show the current situation is actually worse now than in late 2010. For example, GDP growth was revised to 3.9% in 2010 while currently, the growth rate is barely 1.9%. Other indicators show signs of the economy slowing down as 2nd Quarter job growth averaged only 75,000 jobs created per the last three months.

So nobody with half a brain is buying the Barack Obama class warfare argument against Mitt Romney. People chuckle when I mention the word ″LANDSLIDE″, but in a sane, rational universe, that would be the outcome for Mitt Romney. Why would anybody consider voting to reelect Obama when he cannot even produce a federal budget for the past three years? Only die-hard Socialists, idiots and other nit-wits with some narrow agenda would excuse Obama for his failings and give him a shot at four more years in the White House. The latest polls appear to be showing that Independents are beginning to break towards Romney in a big way. Enough so that Obama could not possibly win.
