Barack Obama is burning up the wires with robo-calls and emails seeking cash for his failing reelection campaign. He is warning his supporters that he may be the first sitting president to be outspent by an opponent. Another historic first to add to the Obama legacy of raising the most debt, wasting the most money, playing the most golf, and taking the most vacations. Not to mention being the first president who could not deliver a fiscal budget, something Obama has not done in over three years. Mitt Romney has been raking in the cash, especially after the Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Affordable Care Act.
The money woes for Obama have been building as his campaign continues to falter. Not just for his own reelection, but for Democrats across the board. The DNC has already canceled a major event for their convention in Charlotte, North Carolina due to lack of funds. One estimate has Obama pulling in about $60 million in June while Mitt Romney may break the $100 Million dollar mark. This does not include money being raised by pro-Romney Super-PACs.
The excitement and enthusiasm that embraced Barack Obama and swept him into office in 2008 now appears to be a mirage or a bad nightmare. Despite holding more campaign fund raisers than any other president, Obama is lagging far behind his goal of raising a Billion dollars. On top of that, in true Democrat style, the Obama campaign is burning through what money they do have very quickly. Hopes of carpet bombing Mitt Romney with wall-to-wall negative campaign ads after Labor Day are diminishing. Unable to run on his record, which is nothing but endless failures, Obama appears more vulnerable now than ever before, setting the stage for Mitt Romney to win the 2012 election.

Looks like Mayberry needs a new sheriff with the passing of Andy Griffith.
His best performance was in a “Face in the Crowd” where he played Glenn Beck, err, I mean Lonesome Rhodes.

Flipper, My Three Sons, and Andy.
As kids they all taught us manners and decency, simple right n wrong without judgement or belittlement.
I served Andy dinner once,mentioned it to no one in the rest and treated him as anyone else. He obviously appreciated the privacy, or was an ostentatious tipper.
A very nice man I grew up watching once a week.

Obama sure has a poor mouth. Very doubtful that Romney will out-raise him when all is said and done, and in fact his bank account is about twice as loaded. Poor mouthing is a sign of insecurity, which fits Obama to a tee given his history of miserly charitable contributions.

Speaking of Mayberry, I have no doubt that Sheriff Andy Griffith would have thrown any illegal aliens in jail just for passing through town, where they would linger in jail as comic relief with Barney. And he would have demanded Obama’s birth certificate.

Maybe so but Mayberry was situated in North Carolina (not South) and my recollection is that the show was pretty good on the few black characters that appeared, maybe even trailblazing for that era. I think that’s right given it is still in reruns.

That entire generation and the one that followed took far more out of the nation’s coffers than they gave, leaving a massive debt for their children and grandchildren to pay for their financial thievery. And the greed of the living is even accelerating! Liberals don’t care about their descendents, so they have no conscience about doing it.
