A new poll asks the question as to who would be best, Obama or Romney, on facing an alien invasion? The poll is part of tonight′s premier of ″Chasing UFOs″ on the National Geographic Channel. A new series on the National Geographic Channel featuring UFO investigator James Fox and skeptic Ben McGee. Together they will examine the phenomenon through history to the most current findings. The results of the poll show that 65% think that if aliens attack, Americans pick Obama over Romney. Maybe they think Barack Obama will transform into the Hulk? About 19% of those polled believe that Washington, DC would be the first place where aliens land. Mitt Romney can breathe easy that Utah appears to be safe.
This makes two ′fun′ polls that Barack Obama has won over Mitt Romney. The first was who would make a better ′sugar daddy′ for young, lazy women. So would this help Obama in the November elections? Let′s face it, Obama has been courting the ′kook′ vote. One in eight Americans claim to have seen a UFO, so Obama could pick up a considerable percentage in swing states if he embraces the UFO crowd.
Historically, Democrat presidents have been favored by UFO enthusiasts. Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton are heroes in the UFO community for releasing large amounts of formerly classified documents on the subject. But so far, Barack Obama has yet to exercise such transparency. On the Republican side of the coin, Ronald Reagan is the one president who spoke publicly about UFOs, as well as the prospects of an alien invasion. In his famous U.N. address, Reagan hypothesized that should aliens attack Earth, the planet would unite in a common cause and put aside differences to cooperate in repelling an invasion. While Jimmy Carter is noted for seeing and reporting one UFO sighting he himself had, Reagan had two sightings.
So what do you think? Who would be better, Obama or Romney, on handling an alien invasion? According to a poll taken for the new series ″Chasing UFOs″ airing tonight on the National Geographic Channel featuring James Fox and Ben McGee, if aliens attack, Americans pick Obama over Romney by almost 2 to 1. That is not as good as Barack Obama clobbering Mitt Romney 3 to 1 in another poll about which would make the better sugar daddy for young, lazy women. Is there a connection between young, lazy women and aliens? Perhaps Obama is favored since some believe he is an alien and can speak their lingo?

Despite what is indicated by blogs and Fox and MSNBC, most of the country resides in the middle.
Our country is certainly more polarized then ever, but I attribute that to the aforementioned television networks, blogs and radio.
The “middle” simply does not sell, but people forget that what they see on television is exaggerated for ratings.
CNN is the most objective and no on watches because straight news is boring compared to the outlandish rhetoric of “news commentary”.
This next election, like all others, will be decided by people who would be categorized as the “middle’.
You know, “regular” folks who don’t hold extreme opinions about anything.

I wouldn’t say CNN is the “most objective.” Like all the cable networks, depends on if you are watching an opinion show or a news show, and then who the main characters are on air.
Larry King (not on air anymore, I know) was unabashedly liberal. Wolf Blitzer is a big fat liberal. Christiane Amanpoor (sp?) is the same. I like Anderson Cooper when he just tells the news, except that he introduces his biased liberal opinion into interviews very often.
