The 2012 Barack Obama reelection campaign is coming up short on money, thus we now have the Obama Event Registry. If you are getting married, or have a birthday or anniversary coming up, you can now list your celebration on the Obama Event Registry and allow people to make campaign contributions in your honor to Barack Hussein Obama. So forget about getting that Kitchen-Aid stand-blender with accessories. Insist that your friends and family donate their hard-earned money to Obama instead. What a joke!
In April, 2011, when the Obama reelection campaign was formally launched, their publicly stated goal was to raise One Billion Dollars by November, 2012. So, divided by 19 months, that would mean Obama would have to raise on average some $53.6 Million dollars each month. But throughout 2011, the campaign barely averaged $28 Million per month. Despite holding over 150 fund raisers, more than George W. Bush and Bill Clinton combined during the same time frame, Obama is coming up short. He′s not alone!
Obama′s cash needs are also sucking the money-wind from the sails of the rest of the Democrat National Committee. A report this morning by Harris Nichols of Bloomberg News says that the DNC is short some $27 Million dollars needed for holding the convention later this summer. One event at scheduled to be held at the 74,000 seat Charlotte Motor Speedway may be canceled. We could be seeing a repeat of 1996, when Bill Clinton sabotaged the rest of the Democrat ticket by hogging the money for the presidential race leaving Senate and Congressional candidates in a cash-crunching lurch.
Could this be one more reason why more and more Democrats are distancing themselves from Barack Hussein Obama? Is the Obama Event Registry just the latest in crass narcissism which is the hallmark of the Obama White House? When will Democrats wise up to the reality that Obama is not only bad for America, but he will also drag the Democrat Party to new depths unseen since Jimmy Carter? The Obama campaign will end in failure and set back Democrats 25 years.

I guess, Patrick, that this is what Michelle meant when she said the Barack “is your husband, too.” Therefore he should be included on the gift registry.

Um . . . . It does say 2011 on the Title Line.
I wouldn’t have thought to look for good music in a Video Game. In Fact, Most of the music I have found there is really really shitty. Like You . . . Me.
Cite an example or two of other good music to be found in that venue. Perhaps you can salvage a scrap of dignity.

I have no idea what you think “venue” means, and I’m not even a gamer, but how about these in no particular order…
* “Still Alive” — Jonathan Coulton — from the first “Portal”
* “Theme from Mario Brothers” — catchy, memorable after 20 years– a classic. Covered thousands of times around the world in a variety of styles from silly to reverential.
* “Uncharted 2″ – Greg Edmonson – haunting music from the game with influences from across the globe– especially the Himalayas where much of the action adventure is set.
* “Tetris Theme” — another classic that has echoed across generations and is still edgy via numerous covers– Dr. P even has a popular dubstep version. See youtube for numerous more.
* “Sons of Skyrim” — just google it.
* Heavy Rain Soundtrack– this game wasn’t a huge hit, but I did find the sad-but-very-theatrical soundtrack to basically make the David Fincheresque game emotionally affecting. I had to stop playing this one because it got too intense. Check out the Main Theme for a taste.

ven-ue noun
the scene or locale of any action or event.
e.g. video game
Heavy Rain I checked just in the last few days. It was OK, but just not my ‘cup of tea’.
I Will check out the others. I am looking for Classical Jazz. Though, ‘Bladerunner’ from Vangelis will do the trick.
