Today is June 6, D-Day, the 68th anniversary of the Allied invasion of the Normandy coast. The heroic effort to breach the Atlantic Wall and begin the liberation of France, and Europe, from Adolph Hitler and his Nazi regime. Today is also a D-Day of another sort, the day that Barack Obama and his entire administration and campaign go full tilt into the delusional world of alternative reality. Take, for example, the most recent series of attacks against Mitt Romney, with Team Obama trying to paint Romney as unqualified to be president. A real stretch coming from the most inexperienced, unqualified person to ever be elected to the White House, none other than Obama himself! Over the last several weeks, we are seeing a growing number of Democrat and Liberal power-players either abandoning Obama altogether, or going rogue against his spin machine.

At the root of this is money, of course. Last year, Team Obama bragged about how they intended to raise a billion dollars to win reelection. To achieve this end, Obama would have had to raise about $80 million dollars a month since declaring his campaign in April, 2011. But thus far, he′s barely managed to average half of that. About 80% of those who donated money to him in 2007-08 have not given Obama one thin dime. He′s still getting plenty of cash from Wall Street, thanks to leaving hedge funds and derivative trading off the target list from the Dodd-Frank bill. But even that fund raising source has been less than 2008.

Obama stayed clear of Wisconsin, despite holding numerous campaign rallies along its borders in Illinois and Minnesota just days before the recall vote. All Tom Barrett got was a single tweet from Obama on his Twitter account less than 24 hours before the polls opened. Not only did Obama let Wisconsin Democrats down, but the big labor unions, too. Team Obama has also made it very clear that they do not have any extra money to help Democrat candidates for Congress or the Senate. They are on their own.

Yet, Obama still expects them to open their wallets and go door-to-door for him and his reelection. Fat chance of that! Team Obama has failed to trash Romney despite numerous angles of attack, ranging from a mythical GOP war on women to Romney being a dog torturer. We all know how much Obama loves dogs, especially with Fava beans and a nice Chianti! This latest nonsense about Romney being unqualified, ignoring his executive experience in both the private and public sectors, is about the worse attempt thus far. A sign of Obama becoming more desperate, more delusional, as the election draws nearer.

In the 1980s, there was a really cool movie starring Ken Wahl called, ″The Soldier″, where Wahl played a super-secret CIA agent. To stop a Soviet plot to destroy Israel, Wahl and his hand-picked team used a special back-up plan to gain total access to America′s nuclear arsenal that had been secretly set-up when the Pentagon became worried about Richard Nixon′s mental health. If you have never seen this flick, I urge you to check it out, it is one non-stop action thriller with an awesome musical score by the group, Tangerine Dream. It also had one of the best opening 6 minutes in film history! Watch the video below yourself and decide.

That was just a movie. Fiction. What we may be facing for real is a Barack Obama steadily losing all grip with reality. The trick in lying is to convince others of your lie, but always knowing the truth yourself. Given what we have been seeing of late, it is becoming more obvious that Obama may be starting to believe his own lies. Some might say he has all along. D-Day for Barack Obama truly does stand for delusional.
