In an interview with Edward Klein of the New York Post, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright alleges that the Barack Obama campaign tried to bribe him in 2008. Rev. Wright claims that he was offered $150,000 to stay out of the public′s eye and not preach or give speeches until after the November 2008 elections. In addition to confederates of Obama trying to silence him, Wright even charges that he had a secret meeting with Barack Obama in regards to keeping quiet about their relationship. Rev. Wright, pastor of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, had been the ′spiritual mentor′ of Barack Obama. Obama attended Wright′s church as a member for 20 years. But all of that ended rapidly when a controversial video of Wright damning America and blaming the United States for the 9/11 attacks became public. Klein′s new book, The Amateur: Barack Obama in the White House, also chronicles the jealous fallout between Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey.
So there it is! While the rest of the news media is digging up stories of Mitt Romney′s high school pranks from 57 years ago, or for dirt about Romney allegedly abusing the family dog, a real story about abuse of power and political coverups has remained dormant until now. As I recall, Rev. Wright stepped down as pastor and went into semi-retirement at his newly built, multi-million-dollar home, paid for by the church and ‘friends’.

What killed me about that Andy was that Tinley Park, where the reverend retired, is a predominately white enclave. It’s the desired retreat of the upper crust, second only to Orland Park.

I think I read that Wright’s net worth is around $6-7 Million dollars. So you can not expect him to live with the riff-raff, now can you?
