The Barack Obama campaign has a new website which chronicles ′The Life of Julia′, a ′composite′ women, whose life under goes a ′compression′ between the ages of 3 to 67. At each step in this ′compression′, the website depicts which government program, from Head Start to Social Security, helps Julia stay alive. Clearly, without the government, according to the Obama reelection campaign, Julia would ultimately die. Even sooner if Mitt Romney is elected! But the facts of this farce have even drawn snickers and criticism from the unofficial Obama propaganda news service, MSNBC. Women, understandably, seem most offended by this concept that only with government assistance can they survive and thrive. So what was the Obama team thinking when they slapped together this nonsense? Is no one at home in the White House?

Obviously, they were not thinking at all. Which should not surprise us, since the Obama administration has at no point in the past three-plus years done anything to indicate that they can think. That they can act in a rational way. It is always very easy for Republicans or Conservatives to poke holes and mock Obama and his ′ideas′ for being empty and ridiculous. But it seems more and more that even some pro-Obama media types are getting irked with all of the water they must carry to keep Obama afloat.

So ′The Life of Julia′ ad by the Obama campaign falls into this category. Julia is a composite woman in the mind of Barack Obama, who sees himself as ′The Great Leader′ like the late Kim Jong Il, taking care of his citizens from 3 to 67 with programs like Head Start and Social Security. The Obama administration thinks they can make the point that only with the reelection of Barack Obama can women succeed in the world, let alone stay alive. Some have already questioned why Julia′s life appears to end at 67, even though the average life expectancy for an American woman is in the mid-80s? Is this Obama′s way of hinting that Social Security and Medicare are going bankrupt? That under his compression of spending policies and expansion of the federal government, America itself will soon be broke and ruined and no one will be left alive to get any benefits? Poor Julia! Let us hope that she votes for Mitt Romney in November so she can live her life as a free person, enjoying the liberty granted to us by God.
