The week filled with more bad economic news for Barack Obama just got worse today as the government reports that their estimate for the GDP came up short, dropping to 2.2% instead of the predicted 2.5%. Yesterday offered more poor unemployment numbers with first time filings increasing from 386,000 the previous report to 388,000. The week had started with reports of the worst durable goods sales for the past year and more trouble in the housing market. The American economy is showing signs of it slowing down once again, raising the question if there ever was a ′recovery′ in the first place? As we are seeing in Europe, where Spain and England are now officially in double-dip recessions, will Barack Obama suffer at the polls in November if America slides deeper into recession as well?

Oddly enough, Obama does not seem to care whether America suffers at all. This past week he has been touring college campuses, campaigning for the youth vote. In between 15-minute speeches about the student loan bill to extend low interest rates again, Obama spends most of his time raising money for his reelection and pretending to be ′cool.′ He may be cool but the students he addresses have few prospects of finding employment thanks to his policies. The unemployment rate for college students and those recently graduated is around 50%.

Since the Debt Ceiling debate days of last August, Barack Obama has spent some $88 million dollars of the taxpayers money flying about the country on his campaign and fund raising junkets. Only a small amount of a few million dollars has been paid back by his campaign under the law. His typical ′work day′ consists of a 30-45 minutes of official briefings. By 10:30am or so, he is off campaigning. Is it any wonder why in the latest Pew Research poll that only 33% have any respect for government as an institution?

Barack Obama, America′s first Anti-President, could care less if 10% of Americans are unemployed. Or if they must pay $4 to $9 a gallon for gasoline. Obama is unconcerned if his policies are driving more companies overseas, taking needed jobs with them. On foreign policy matters, despite the claims of Joe Biden that Obama has ′a big one′, the Middle East is approaching critical mass as Iran continues to develop nuclear weapons, Syria continues to slaughter its citizens and Egypt cuts off natural gas sales to Israel. Obama does not seem happy just working to destroy America. He now seems intent on making the entire planet miserable. The country, let alone the world, cannot tolerate another four years of a celebrity president, nor of a part-time president.
