Rat B*stards: Another Cajun Reality Show

Tonight, yet another Louisiana reality show premiered on Spike TV (Tuesdays, 9:30 Central Time), Rat B*stards. The premise of this show is sort of like Swamp People. The main difference is that on Swamp People, the hunters are chasing gators; on this program, the hunters are going after the enormous bayou rats, the nutria.

Lowell Turpin Exposes Mitt Romney Affair!

So is Lowell Turpin of Tennessee a Democrat? That’s a reasonable guess considering the awesome thing he is accused by police of doing and believing about his Facebook-loving girlfriend, a Mitt Romney supporter named Crystal Gray. Democrat voters in the last two presidential election cycles were lower educated than their Republican counterparts, and statistics also show they are also more prone to violent crime. Tea-party supporters and Republicans generally are more law-abiding and successful people.

Mitt Romney London Olympics Caption Contest WINNERS!

Well, Mitt Romney has gotten the dander up of our former slave-masters across the pond. He made a foreign affairs gaffe by hinting that the Brits might not be quite ready in their preparation for the 2012 London Olympics games. Over-budget and with suspect security in which many of the guards don’t even speak English, David Cameron has assured the future leader of the free world that all is okay and he should mind his own business.

CNN Apologizes to Sarah Palin (Sort of)

CNN has had its share of problems lately. Its ratings have sunk to levels lower than the Dead Sea. At least partially because of this, its president was forced to resign. Then, in the midst of the meltdown of its brand, the network thought that it would be appropriate to play a musical introduction to a segment on Sarah Palin, a song by Pink entitled Stupid Girls.

Lech Walesa and Mitt Romney meet in Poland

Lech Walesa and Mitt Romney met in Poland on Monday as the GOP nominee made his last stop in his overseas trip. Walesa wished Romney well, saying ″Get your success, be successful.″ There is little love between Walesa and Barack Obama. In 2009, on the very day of the 70th Anniversary of Germany invading Poland, Obama stopped plans for a missile defense system to be built in Poland. This year, the White House neglected to invite Walesa when Obama awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Polish resistance fighter Jan Karski, during which Obama made a gaffe about ″Polish death camps.″ Romney later met with Poland′s Prime Minister, Donald Tusk and visited two memorials in Gdansk, one honoring WWII veterans and the other for the Solidarity Movement.

Netanyahu Urges Romney to Attack Iran

While in Israel this weekend, as Andy previously reported here, Benjamin Netanyahu urged America to attack Iran. This is hardly news any more than it would be news if a bear defecated in the woods. You see, since he was Israel’s Ambassador to the US, during Reagan’s presidency, Bibi has urged our nation to attack or invade some of his neighbors. Every new President is immediately requested to pay homage to Israel so that his political party can receive some share of the lucre that is available. It doesn’t actually matter which nation or nations we attack, Netanyahu is happy, until he thinks of another country we should invade a week or so later. Thus far, the only President who followed his advice was Bush 2; those wars ended up just fantastic.

Mitt Romney in Israel Pledges Support

Mitt Romney was in Israel this weekend, in case you missed it. The presumptive Republican presidential nominee met with his old buddy, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss a wide range of issues facing the Middle East. On Sunday, Romney also met with Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad. Romney spokesman Dan Senor assured reporters that Romney would support whatever decision Israel made about dealing with Iran and its pursuit of a nuclear weapon. During a joint appearance, Netanyahu did intimate that the current administration in the White House, namely Barack Obama, has failed to stop Iran with just diplomacy. Romney also hinted that he would consider moving the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, something Obama opposes.

100 Days till Election 2012

Today marks just 100 days left until the November 2012 elections. Or, as I like to say, 100 days until the electoral rejection of Barack Obama. There is little doubt in my mind that Obama will lose to Mitt Romney. Not that I′m a fan of Mitt, but simply because the Obama administration has been such a historic disaster. The Number One issue on everyone′s mind is the economy, as usual, and under Obama, we are no better off now than we were four years ago. The housing market is still depressed. There is probably even more uncertainty and danger lurking within our financial system. Unemployment is still chronically high with no light at the end of the tunnel. On top of all of that, Obama has outspent every other president in history, adding more debt than all others combined. Especially given the latest Congressional Budget Office numbers on the cost of the Affordable Care Act, a.k.a. Obama-Care. If all of this were not bad enough, Obama and the Democrats in the Senate have failed to produce an annual federal budget in more than three years.
