A meme that has been carefully managed by the Obama White House is that the president is a man of the people, not just a cool cat but one of Us. The fable has been promoted by the president’s surrogates in the media since the campaign season of 2008 when his work as a community organizer, something conservatives laughed about as rabble rousing, was redefined as sacred work of the proletariat class.
The upcoming book, ′Barack Obama: The Story′ by David Maraniss details the extraordinary drug use by Barack Obama in his youth. Maraniss does now what no major media did in 2008, actually interview people who knew and hung out with Obama. While the New York Times and Washington Post try to dig up any dirt on Mitt Romney, even if its 50-plus years old, Obama′s misdeeds are completely ignored. As a teenager in the exclusive, elitist preppy high school. Obama and his marijuana smoking friends called themselves the ′Choom Gang′, with choom being a Hawaiian slang for smoking pot. One owned a VW micro-bus that was dubbed the ′Choom Wagon′. They would party-hard, smoking reefer with a bong, doing ′roof hits′ by keeping all the windows rolled up. By inhaling all the second-hand marijuana smoke, Obama would achieve ′Total Absorption′, or ′TA′, so as to not waste one molecule of THC. In his senior year, Obama thanked Ray, a homosexual drug dealer, along with the Choom Gang and his grandparents, ″for all the good times.″ No mention of his mother.
Following the Texas election results, clinching the 2012 GOP presidential nomination for Mitt Romney, an app typo ′Better Amercia′ on his campaign′s new iPhone app, ′With Mitt′ was the last thing he needed today. Bad enough that the pro-Obama media is spending all day bashing Romney about Donald Trump and his birther statements. Or the ever continuing attack by the Barack Obama campaign over Romney′s days at Bain Capital, including the time after he left the private equity firm. Spokesperson Andrea Saul says that the Romney campaign submitted a corrected version of the app to Apple and is awaiting it being updated. Of course, if this is as bad as it gets, Romney′s gaffes fall way short of those by Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
Is the Miami cannibal attack a sign of the Zombie Apocalypse? The strange case of Rudy Eugene, a homeless man shot by police as he was found eating the face of a person. Eugene was spotted by Larry Vega, who happened to be riding his bicycle when he saw the zombie attack. Its not every day when you see a man eating another man’s face. Vega stopped a police car and directed them to the scene of the crime. Police found Eugene, naked, bent over the body of another homeless man, Ronald Poppo, eating his face near the MacArthur Causeway, not far from the Miami Herald newspaper office. Indeed, the Herald′s security cameras caught some of the action. Poppo was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital where he is still fighting for his life in critical condition. Doctors at the hospital are speculating a link between the cannibal attack and the possible use of bath salts as a drug. But some are pointing to Barack Obama as the cause of Rudy Eugene, 31, turning into a naked, cannibal.
The Polish people are mad as hell this week and there is really no blaming them. Our own president conflated Polish World War II resistance heroes with the Nazi’s, and in so doing he revealed an alarming ignorance of history. Watch the video below.

You all know the Facebook stock offering has not gone as well as expected, although Zuckerberg has made millions as others lose money. And for that he has something remarkably in common with the president himself versus the people who elected him.

More signs of the depravity of Bashar Assad in Syria as his loyalist troops conducted massacres in the pro-rebel towns of Houla and Hama. According to reports, some 108 civilians were killed over the weekend. Less than twenty died from indirect fire of combat, such as artillery and airstrikes. The rest, including as many as 49 children, some infants, were found to have been murdered, execution-style, in their homes when raided by pro-Assad forces. Barack Obama has been far in the background, letting the United Nations and its special envoy, Kofi Annan, deal with Syria. Rupert Colville, a spokesman for the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, confirmed to the BBC that the latest atrocities were performed by the Assad regime.
In honor of Memorial Day 2012, and the 50th anniversary of America′s combat involvement in the Vietnam War, I have decided to do a game review, choosing Phantom Leader, published by Dan Verssen Games. This game is based on their earlier successful product, Hornet Leader, which has spawned a wide range of supplements and cousins. Most are, like Hornet or Phantom Leader, solitaire air combat board games. But the folks at DVG have also begun other series of solitaire board games, including land wargames like Field Commander Rommel, refighting three of his campaigns or a naval solitaire game, U-Boat Leader, where you command a wolfpack of German submarines in the North Atlantic. But with Phantom Leader, the heady days of Rolling Thunder and Linebacker are recreated with the smell of jet fuel and visions of exhaust plumes from missiles flying about.
