Everybody wants to belong….to something. But these Texas teens have taken it to a whole other level. Texas teen wolf packs are popping up all over San Antonio High Schools and are creating quite a buzz. Teen werewolves appear to be the latest trend, a mixture of goth and well, something else.

They come complete with tails, eyes, fangs, and even leashes. These teens are proud of their “canine” heritage and they’re not afraid to tell you either. The so called leader of one pack says that “everyone has something else in them”, I suppose he means wolf?

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has canceled a trip to meet with President Obama in light of the deadly Gaza flotilla attack that left several activists dead. Israeli forces boarded flotilla’s bound for Gaza carrying aide to the blockaded Gaza strip.

Soldiers encountered armed protesters and violence which prompted retaliation on the part of Israel. The world community, which is no friend of Israel anyway, has denounced the raids for the most part with anti-Israeli protests springing up all over. The United Nations Security Council plans to meet to “discuss” the events that took place. It’s likely the UN will condemn the attack.

Yes, our Commander in Chief, Barack Obama, will not be attending the Memorial Day ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery. In his place, Vice President Joe Biden will lay the ceremonial wreath, honoring our war dead. This day, May 31, Obama will make a speech at a ceremony Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Taking time out from his busy vacation, just as Obama did Friday when he went to Louisiana to help with BP oil spill efforts by picking up ‘a’ tar ball. The video below sort of reminds me of Bill Clinton’s photo-op at Normandy beach.

UPDATE: 5/31/2010 Below

A 40 year old man in England was in court on charges of murder; he is accused of the slayings of three prostitutes in Bradford. Stephen Griffiths, ‘The Crossbow Cannibal’, (self titled) is said to be responsible for the human remains that authorities have found in a river near where the remains of one of the identified victims was found.

Suzanne Blamires, Shelley Armitage and Susan Rushworth have been missing. Blamires body was recovered from the river recently and now English authorities fear that the remains now being found are those of Armitage and Rushworth. Armitage was last seen in March and Rushworth disappeared in June of 2009.

Dateline Spain! Friday was a bad day for Spain as it’s government passed a $15 Billion Euro (about $18 Billion dollars) cut in spending, forced to do so by the Debt Contagion. Within moments, the bond rating agency, Fitch, knocked Spain down to a AA+. This is still just the beginning of austerity measures that Spain must now take, following suit as Greece has. Three-way talks between the government, business leaders and the unions have yet to reach an agreement on cuts in wages and benefits. If a negotiated settlement is not achieved tomorrow, Monday, then the government may issue a royal decree and make the cuts themselves.

Earlier this week the infamous ‘Amityville Horror’ house went on sale for just over $1.1 million dollars. Needless to say it’s a tough sale. To make it tougher an activist group wants to rent the place. PETA’s ‘Amityville Horror’ house idea involves renting it out and turning it into a ‘slaughterhouse of horrors’ depicting the cruel practices of those who raise and kill animals for food.

In 1974 Ronald DeFeo Jr. shot and killed six family members as they slept. The movie “Amityville Horror” is based on the events that took place after the unsuspecting Lutz family bought and moved into the cursed home. The house has been a tourist attraction ever since.

It’s been a busy month in Major League Baseball….for perfect games. Roy Halladay’s perfect game was only the 20th perfect game in history but ironically the 2nd this month. Halladay bested the Florida Marlins 1-0 in route to MLB history.

Oakland’s Dallas Braden pitched a perfect game earlier this month against Tampa Bay and now with Roy Halladay’s perfect game it’s the first time that two have been pitched in the same season in the modern era. Braden was and is a virtual unknown in the game. Roy Halladay is a former Cy Young Award winner in the American League.

BP announced today that efforts to use the top kill method to stop the oil spill from the Deepwater Horizon well have failed. Some 30,000 barrels of ‘drill mud’ had been forced into the well, along with ‘junk shot’, items ranging from golf balls to shredded tires. Despite early promising signs, BP engineers now say the plan has failed and oil is still flowing from the well head.
