In Meghan McCain’s article for The Daily Beast entitled “Forgive Mark Sanford”, she bases her reasons for defending the adulterous Governor on being younger with a more open-minded view of politicians and sex, and that it’s of very little concern to her who elected officials sleep with. She feels that what goes on in Governor Sanford’s personal life, just isn’t relevant to his role as a public official. Blink, Blink.

When you title your article “It came from Wasilla” it’s pretty much a given that you’re trying to insult – so it seems Palin Derangement Syndrome is alive and well at Vanity Fair! In a just published 10,000-word article on Sarah Palin, author Todd Purdum mocks, smirks, and seemingly lusts after her, all the while reporting numerous “anonymous” friends and campaign workers for Senator John McCain who trash the Governor of Alaska – even calling her “A Little Shop of Horrors.”

It seems the affluent, high society Black community in the popular New England vacation spot have no idea what to make of the Obamas coming to town, even resorting to calling Michelle Obama “basically a ghetto girl”. Ouch!

The WaPo today has more sordid details of South Carolina governor Mark Sanford’s affair. Sanford, a fiscal conservative Republican, was one of the few Republicans that still caught my attention after the disastrous Republican National Convention last year.

The Minnesota Supreme Court ruled today that Liberal Democrat Al Franken defeated Republican Norm Coleman in the highly contested senate seat. And doggone it, people like him. Well Obama and Harry Reid sure do like him.

The seat has been vacant since January 2009 with numerous recounts and legal battles. Seems Franken won with more votes then the actual amount of people who voted. Hey Minnesota you wanted change. You got it. Hope you enjoy it.

Franken will give the Democrats a super majority with 60, thanks to the Minnesota Supreme court and to Arlen Spector.

The funeral for Billy Mays will be held Friday in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania – the Pittsburgh suburb where he was born and raised. Read more below, see photo and a video.

Billy Mays’ funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Church in McKees Rocks. The very loud product pitchman apparently died in his sleep in his home on Sunday. A medical examiner says he likely died from a heart attack, though tests results to confirm that are still pending.

There has been so much written about Cap and Trade that it can make ones head spin. We have Nancy Pelosi promising the president to pass this bill before the July 4th recess, which happened Friday night.

In the end 40 Democrats did voted with Republicans against the bill. However there were 8 RHINOS that broke rank and voted with the Democrats.The 8 are Mary Bono Mack R (CA), Mike Castle R (DW), Mark Steven Kirk R (IL), Leonard Lance R (NJ), Frank LoBiondo R (NJ), John McHugh R (NY), Dave Reichert R (WA) and Chris Smith R (NJ) — under House rules, they can change their votes on Cap and Trade until Wed, July 2.

Keep calling, faxing and emailing. Make them hear you.

Now it goes to the Senate which may not pass as easily as in the House. Now is the time to put the pressure on and stop this from becoming law.

I must have missed the Straight and Married to the Opposite Sex (SMOS) Month and reception at the White House held by the President and First Lady Obama. But the first ever Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Pride month, started June 1st and the good news is you still have today to embrace it.

Well yesterday Barrack and Michelle Obama held a LGBT Pride Month at the White House. Bringing together LGBT families, volunteers (“Any volunteers to be gay?”), community leaders, and heads (The White House said it not me) of LGBT activist organizations to celebrate the LGBT community. And boy did they seem to enjoy it. They were smiling and laughing and having a (wait for it)…………..………gay old time.

The President insulted anyone who fought for civil rights, which by the way enabled him to become President, by comparing it to the struggle for gay rights. Really, Mr. Obama, you can choose not to be LBGT. But you can’t change your race. The late Michael Jackson tried to but when he did, that is when all the trouble started. I liked the black Michael much better then the white Michael.. Oh I just thought what if Obama’s real birth certificate lists him a white? That would mean Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton still have a chance to become the first black President. But I digress. Sorry.
