The man broke no laws. He’s a very effective legislator. Leave him the hell alone and stop sensationalizing the man’s weiner. He has enough problems trying to live with a pregnant, embarrassed, hormonal woman that is probably contemplating killing him.

No Republican would get away with it? How 'bout Vittner?

God FORGIVES conservatives, because they got God on they side. When the feet of evil librals slide, they slide to hell.

This is the diff 'tween the God-fearin' and everone else.

God takes care of His own.

I put this in the Weiner / Boehner thread below, but will repost here.

Chris Matthews, of whom I am NOT a fan, had an interesting suggestion tonight to bring Weinergate to a close. Weiner should resign, then run in the inevitible special election and try to get his seat back. If, as he says, he wants to leave it up to his constituency, this would certainly accomplish that.

I've truly been back and forth on this one. The man did not break any law, and so far it seems the women were willing participants. It takes a certain amount of narcissim and ego to run for any office - why are we continually surprised when these qualities surface in ugly ways in our elected officials? And he's truly popular in his (my) district. Yet still, he's a member of the US Congress and should be held to a higher standard. And there certainly is an ick factor to it all. How effective can he be after all this. Etc.

Anyway, I kind of like Matthews' idea.
