I can't imagine any positive outcomes of the talks they are about to hold after so much criticism of each other's monetary policy. I think this sometimes overshadows a number of other important issues that are out there.

@ Klo

Taxing the rich is going to solve our problems with China? That sure makes a lot of sense! Where do you think the rich are fleeing, too, Klo? Asia! Jim Rogers is in Singapore with his whole family. His grandchildren are learning Mandarin.

Want to beat China? TAX THE RICH. We're putting all our money into private jets and third (or fourth or fifth) vacation homes, rather than innovation and infrastructure. Obama has betrayed us. Wealth cares only about preserving itself. To the wealthy, wealth is everything. Money itself has no vision for the future. It must be used. All our dollars you are so worried about are just sitting there, these days. The stimulus package was a good first step, but it's a drop in the bucket, and won't be repeated. It's gonna take something big to shake us up. So yeah, let China take over the world. Then let them try to take over us. Then maybe the people will finally wake up and see what's really been going on.

It doesn't seem like many people post on this site anymore.
