We have been “being prepped” for generations. What better way to introduce such a potentially very volatile addition to the mix? If Governments came out with this info decades ago, they would have no way to control reaction. Look at what they have done though. In retrospect, it is brilliant how well this thing has played out over the past 70 years or so. By allowing only a few to know the truth and then very gradually allowing society to realize bits and pieces at a time…For example, there are thing I believe to be absolutely true regarding E.T. and UFOs. I can show my wife of 23 years what I see as 100% proof of something and she still doesn’t always see my point. I get it at a completely different time than her (or some others in my circle of friends). The same is true with us all. We may all come to “get it” eventually but not all of us will get it at the same time. In that way, the info gets mixed into our culture without causing any type of toxic shock to the Human race.

I passed a dead baby dear on the side of a major highway in my town last night and thought…Are we so arrogant as to believe a race of alien beings smart enough to get to our planet are going to give us a second thought once they get here! We will become just another exploited animal indigenous to Earth running in and out of the shadows trying not to get hit by their passing alien vehicles or squashed by their alien dwellings, shrinking in population from their seasonal hunting of us, surviving on smaller and smaller plots of land, and the lucky few of us will become their pets or slaves or get to live in their zoos! An Alien Ambassador, REALY????

Seriously! No disrespect to Dr. Othman, I am certain she is well versed in Space Law and Astrophysics, but do we really want her to be the one standing there at the initial “Meet and Greet?” What is she maybe five feet two? If aliens came down and demanded, “Take me to your leader,” given the psychology of first impressions, I would prefer “Earth’s Ambassador” be the tallest, strongest, toughest-looking bad ass on the planet. Have him give the first crushing hand-shake and with a steely-eyed stare say, Yep, we humans are all just like me. Now what do you want!!
