To me rush is walking anarchy. anyways, its unlikely aliens can travel faster than light speed as the mass of their ship would increase geometrically to require all the energy in the universe to go the speed of a massless photon. Unless you say,, what if they found a way to uncouple their elementary particles to the higgs boson? the higgs gives ordinary particles with spin their mass effect. Interesting, on the UFO channel they did a bit on finding beta radiation at the site of a supposeded landing. this is interesting to me as it may they travel somewho using the electroweak force, which isn't so strongly connected to our light filled universe. What they would need is a way to travel in a form that did not interact much with our strong force or supergravity, in essence the neutrino and w and z bosons come to play all of which have hard to measure mass interractions with the higgs. you may not believe in the higgs model, we will soon know with the LHC at Cern possibly as early as this year as they are kranking up the loop now. would aliens simply translate their quantum numbers with weakly interacting particles and retransform later, or perhaps they are already transformed in a parallel life space that simply doesn't interact much with our own. (another dimension). Or, can they simply put up a shield around their ordinary mass field that would slip through our particle fields at hypervelocities aka the debunked tachyon's? If partiles are simply field nodes then it might be possible, as no robust translation would be required. Or if by simply translating the quantum signature into like particles with sentience following them they could give a whole new meaning to life as we know it.
