Regardless of whether you are from the Left or the Right, the way this cheap article is written (forgetting the spelling mistakes for a moment)is a glaring example of how most political "hit men" are just waiting in the wings for someone from "the other side" to mess up, and then pounce! Stupid idea or not, I have known Jon for more than 20 years and he is a good person, more important in my book than being a good politician - but he IS that, as well. If you are going to be so blatantly transparent, at least pick a "target" you know something about. When you are far to eager to shoot anyone, you make your gun just look stupid! Jon is one of the good guys. He is not a conservative, and he and I do disagree on many issues, but this is a genuinely good human being. Lots of guys go to extremes to make their proposals special, he was no different. A couple of on duty cops to fake a bust was no big deal though the helicopter was a little over the top. You people have no idea who he really is - this is a man who has worked SO hard for his constituents, has put everything into his issues, the people he serves, and is one of the most genuine, respectful, and honest politicians out there. To take something he did, that we don't even know the whole truth, and blow it up like this, is just insane. Wait for the truth, and then react. In this crazy world where so many of them cheat, steal, lie, and are just corrupt, a mistake like this (and yes, it was not the best idea), should be understood and forgiven. This is so sad.
