The rest are country club Republicans. Martinez is a complete disgrace and a quitter to boot. I am happy that the rest of the R's voted against her. Honestly, there were 10 more no votes than I thought possible. Historically, very few R Senators have had the guts to vote no on a Dem Pres's SCOTUS nominee. 3 R's voted against her and it was clear that she was a radical leftist. Being Cuban myself, I applaud them for finally appointing a Hispanic, as that was long overdue. I feel though that there were better options out there. Sotamayor's financial irresponsibility troubles me. She does not live within her means, and this usually reflects irresponsibility in other aspects of her life. I wish her well, but I find that aspect extremely troubling.
