Loyalty can have a lot of curcumstances fall under it and really goes to nothing. Insubordination ? Defiant ? So what ? Theres no real detailed explanation as to how this librarian was being unloyal, not that I’ve heard.
I really doubt that Palin in any executive position would be some kind of Jerry Falwell or that she would discount basic science such as carbon dating that doesnt lie. Shes got some pretty basic pragmatic thought constructs and a pretty impressive success to failure ratio.

Never said they were sanctioned by anything. I said that it was Christian ethics and morals that directed these men to not have the two intertwined. They did not want government interviening into the church anymolre than they wanted the church dictating to the government.
Our laws are still derived of almost every one of the ten commandments. In God we trust is everywhere and all officials are bound to their faith buy what religion they’re sworn in on.
Why would Christians insist that the church and state remain seperate yet most other religions dictate that they are the rule of the land ?
It took Christians to realize the two should be seperated.

Gimme a break, alright ? Please, dont make me list her record, its astounding. I had this debate when she was on the ticket and everyone was comparing her qualifications opposed to Obama and not Biden. She out qualifies Obama 10 to 1. Starting with being one of the 3 most successful governors in the country, her management of the largest parks, domestic forces, ran a city for 6 years, a state for two, balanced budgets etc… trust me, I could go on.

Not really. Most all our founding fathers made their decisions based on the values, morals and ethics derived of their faith. Its those foundations that led these men to make sure the two were seperate.
Still, our laws are based on Judeo Christian values whether anyone likes it or not. Does the church tell the country how to legislate ? Of course not. But our laws are based on Christian beliefs still. Does the state dictate to the church ? Nope.

Founded on, but made explicitly separate from. It’s an important distinction. A politician’s duty is to the laws of the land (ie, the US Constitution on down), not the laws of some specific religion.
