@ Carla:

Obama #1 at Harvard?

You must be the first person that's seen his grades, since they've never been released....please reveal your confidential source.
Maybe you're also the only person to see his medical records? His bar exam test scores?
I'm VERY eager to know.
Perhaps you could also elaborate on why if he graduated top of his class at Harvard Law, something like a $200,000-$300,000 investment all told, why did he let his law license lapse several years ago and never try a case?

The media knows we're uninformed and uses it to their advantage. Here's the way I see it... There are a lot of "leaders"(not all) on both sides of the political divide who do not resist the urge to seek more power. This will always be true. What we "sheeple" need to understand before voting is the two different "types" of power being pursued. One side, more than the other, is after power provided by money. They need rich people. The other side, more than the other, is after absolute power. These are the ones who consider themselves the only ones worthy of power. The elites. Once they obtain absolute power, they don't need rich people. In fact, the rich will threaten their power. They do need, however, us. They need our complete dependence on them. We are nowhere close to that right now, but things seem to be moving in that direction. If having the government being more and more involved in your life and eventually controlling your life is what you want, then continue to vote for them- the greater of the two evils.

Palin got in front of cameras and showed off her political chops. A lot of them turned out to be not very flattering.

That has to be dealt with if she wants a political future on the national stage. So in she gathers all of that together in one tidy package and labels it “not my fault.

Now, when she runs for whatever and folks want to bring up these public demonstrations of her incompetence, all she has to do is point to this video and say, “Hey, I was a victim of media malpractice. Didn’t you see my propaganda piece, I mean documentary?

Typical neo-con intellectual and emotional dishonesty, and eminently predictable that Ziegler is the writer/director.

The only media malpractice I saw in that campaign as far as Palin was concerned was her relentless promotion by the Murdoch media machine despite all evidence that putting her into office would be the beginning of a national security crisis.

By the way, it is easy to be a popular governor when you are scalping your fellow Americans at the gas pump, and turning the take over to your constituents. Let’s see how she does now that oil is not approaching $200 a barrel and they are not so flush with cash.

Limited government, and free markets are a thing of the past. New, new deal liberalism is the present. Keynesian economics has never worked to my knowledge. By borrowing a couple trillion there is some insane Marxist sense that it can be achieved if approached "the right way."

Many of the promises have already been broken. They started small. He promised to accept public funding, and went against his word when he determined that the public was able to dwarf the amount publically provided. He has promised "change" and ethical dealings that the Washington hasn't seen for some time. Enter several tax-cheats, and old Clinton cabinet members. He has promised to remove troops from Iraq. In contrast, he has comitted to sending 17,000 troops to Afghanistan. He has promised transperancy at every step, however, he has pushed the largest spending bill in human history before anyone has had an opportunity to read it. He has promised "hope," but claims that the need is so dire and immediate, and that catastrophy is sure to follow if the bill is not passed. (Many accused Bush of "fear mongering.")

Overall, I'm worry about the future of this country. I have to say that I would have been glad to "tolerate" Palin based on what I have sseen to this point.

What makes you think that all Democrats are stupid? You stated that most of the people who voted for Obama were unintelligent. Did you poll all of the voters? I think not. When is all the mud slinging going to end? Neither the Republicans nor the Democrats are always right. President Obama has given the country a sense of hope and pride. Give him a chance. I would be saying this if McCain had one. We need to stop trying to divide this country. I realize that the media is pro liberal but the far right has Bill O'Reilly and Fox news. I hope that he succeeds and the country returns to be respected in the World Community. I think both sides feel like they have it right and the other is wrong. Well, we can either keep fighting each other or do what is best for the country as a whole.
