The national polls mean nothing anyway, it is the state polls.. If you consider all the states Obama is leading in 364-174 in the count.. Even if you take away the less than five points.. Obama has 286 electoral college votes.. You can say polls do not matter, but if you take the average of the polls they are generally correct, maybe not by the margin, but by the winner, and if one condidate has over 3 point lead, that is a good lead when taking the average of all the polls Either way.. the fact that VA. McCain is down 8 points, NC is toss up, and Freaking West Va is a battle ground state.. the state where 33% of the Democratic voters said they would not vote for him because he is Black.
